Same here, holding out and hoping for a reissue, as well as OCS 1-4. Maybe Narnack doesn't want to give Castle Face the licensing to reissue the album? I've read interviews with John Dwyer where he mentions some or other label they were on that was awful and won't allow them to do anything with the release(s) nowadays.

I just got my order in the mail. Can't wait to spin these after I do my work. So far I'm impressed, the discs are nice and solid and the gatefold for Direct Hits isn't at all flimsy. I'm glad I didn't drop a ridiculous amount of money for Day & Age previous to these represses

bumping this because it deserves it. this is definitely more contemplative post-rock (as opposed to whimsical, upbeat, soaring), which is my jam. lights & motion (and his brainchild, christoffer franzen) is all over the place with his releases, so at least some of his tunes will strike a chord with any post-rock/cinematic rock/ambient fan. this is also originally a deep elm release, so if you've trusted them to deliver you athletics, latterman, or the appleseed cast, trust them with this

This album sounds really fantastic, both production wise and the LP itself. Does 45RPM in general lead to less surface noise...? I don't understand how a label as small as Castle Face can put out nearly flawless sounding albums, yet the new Metallica repress I have is full of pops and hiss. Awesome silkscreen, cool vinyl (pink smoke), and high-quality printed inner sleeves as well. Top-notch release all around.

In most lists it falls somewhere between fifth and eighth. I don't think I've ever seen anyone except myself rate it higher than third.

They've done some great work on fat singles. Peanut Butter Oven, the Quadrospazzed '09 12", the Total Control split, and Moon Sick are all excellent.

I bought one of those “like new/sealed” copies from Amazon Warehouse around the time of Black Friday (thanks to the Amazon Deals thread”) - it came to just under $16 (including tax with Prime). It came sealed in mint/new condition and sounds excellent. Nice low-end and great texture to the guitars. I was pleased.

I'm going through my collection (very slowly) and adding to my Discogs. Played this. Man. If you guys don't know Eddie Bo from me raving about him, go read up on him. Incredible career. Known a little here in New Orleans. Obscure to the rest of the world. He did R&B in the 50's, soul in the 60's, and funk in the 70's. When he couldn't get his music released, he wrote and produced some stellar funk classics for others.

Of course they are, i meant first press authentic. I was lucky enough to get it for around 30 bucks sealed a few years ago but there are people who paid 90+ dollars for this, to just produce more of the exact same product down to somethng nitpicky as the barcode would have been a shame imo.
