  1. Nice and it's dual grooved for maximum pointlessness and expensive price.

  2. Or in other words... I wish record labels would let me give them my money. Now that it's 2018 I have 4 that I've mentioned before, but that are now almost all 10 Year Anniversary releases so maybe. 1. The Snake The Cross The Crown - Cotton Teeth 2. Noah and the Whale - Peaceful the World Lays Me Down 3. Fear Before - ST 4. Passion Pit - Chunk of Change Been wanting the whole Noah and the Whale discography for a while which makes no sense since they were such a huge band in the UK. Hopefully, that 10-year release will spark it off. Fear Before hopefully because EV just did a repress of their earlier album, so hopefully. And finally, we've already been promised those Passion Pit reissues for like 2 years now and ever newsletter signups. I don't how they didn't release already with his little mini tour that he did last month. Hoping for 2018 since it's a 10 Year Anniversary there as well.

  3. I didn't understand that comment either, lol. Personally, you've been good for my wallet! The Polygondwanaland thread caused me to look into the abyss and made me think that maybe I should focus a little less on collecting variants, hahah. 2018: the year of black vinyl? Maybe.

  10. Cotton Teeth is definitely among the albums I want to own on vinyl. Same goes for Razia's Shadow, by Forgive Durden (though I wouldn't mind if Wonderland came first).

  11. It’s my #1 wish, but I’ve given up on Cotton Teeth. I just don’t see the demand for a band that has essentially disappeared. As I’ve mentioned, ETR was maybe going to press it a few years ago, but I’m not sure it fits their type of release anymore. Such a shame.

  15. Gumbo: Major post rock fan boy who gets a little excited and fires off very longwinded adjective strewn dramatic opinions of how certain parts of songs feel. Nice guy but gets a little carried away sometimes. Also constantly recieves records in terrible condition as he is cursed. Tug: pretty much a troll account that only serves up purposefully misspelled trivia on the early 2000's emo band The Used. Frequently bumps his own threads updating stock levels on The Used releases in spite of mostly being met with ridicule. Takes part in any thread that garners a large page count to stir the pot. Willfully uses terms like "vinyl" as the plural of vinyl and 7inchers instead of 7".

  16. Thank you, that's a nice comment! Can I just say folks...I have Asperger's syndrome...so I can get a little absorbed with pointless trivialities at times. Personally..I enjoyed compiling that list, and keeping track of stock remaining with each label. Call me sad if you will...but it keeps me happy! And yes....I haven't got a girlfriend either! lol! Anyway...as it's just gone midnight here in Blighty...happy new year folks. My new year's wish? King Gizzard re-releases their first four albums, a must for me.

  17. Does my enthusiasm bother some folks on here then, to the point that i'm annoying? I must confess, that I am unable to respond to some of the comments left to me, simply because I cannot understand what they're implying.. A case in point; "I can't get put of my head the tug passion for the used" Apologies to youspinmeround, for using your comment as an example, but the poor construction of that sentence, renders it pretty much unintelligible...so I just ignored it originally. I can leave, if you want, no bother. Anyways...for what it's worth, I'm too laid back to snipe back in kind, normally. I'm simply interested in music, that's all. PS: who or what is Gumbo/Tug?

  19. Machete order: IV, V, II, III, VI leave out ep1 entirely. Agreed. So I just saw this, and I'm going full spoiler mode on this jammer because fuck it, you come into a Star Wars thread thinking you're not gonna get spoilers, you're not thinking. Ok, overall I give this puppy a 7/10. Could easily have been an 8 or 9. So much of the humor seemed incredibly out of place and took me out of the mood of the movie. The slapstick garbage when Finn woke up might have been the worst offender, but all the one-liners in the first half hour didn't help. Let's talk about the Empire Strikes Back throwback here. The pit, the fog, c'mon. There are other ways that scene could have been done. I didn't hate it, but I was like, "Oh, ok, so we're watching Empire now." And of course we got the reveal of Rey's parents at the end because Empire. Phasma was wasted again, Finn could be so much better than he is, Poe should be dead long ago. I wish Laura Dern's character (Vice-Admiral Holdo) had stuck around for Ep IX. She would have been a great Leia replacement, though her sacrifice was one of the best parts of the movie. BB-8 saved the day like...what, three times? Fuck that garbage, once per movie is plenty. Now to the things I did like. I've heard a lot of complaints about how Luke's arc was carried out and how he was portrayed. I thought he was exactly where he should be, dude's broken. He almost murdered his nephew, and then turned him into a Sith lord. That said, one of my least favorite scenes was Rey handing him his lightsaber and then him nonchalantly flipping it over his shoulder. He's turned his back on the Jedi order and cut himself off from the force...she should have turned around and flung that thing. That bothered me. The Porg didn't bother me as much as I thought they would judging from the trailer. I thought Chewie being won over by their cuteness was alright. Benicio del Toro's character was actually awesome. The stutter threw me for a minute, but he was great. I felt so dumb for not knowing Luke wasn't really there at the end. First time he lit up the lightsaber I thought, "how does he have that, didn't that one get destroyed in the last act?" Yup.
