That looks like a heavy duty Stoughton tip on jacket too. Pay $20 more for a much thinner wide spine single pocket jacket with a fucking piece of paper insert and ugly variant because it's more limited... Jack White should seriously feel shitty about ripping people off that way. You'd think him of all people would at least try to not make it so obvious he didn't start up a pressing plant to improve the industry but to milk it even more.

I got 3 of the 4 so I hope they're the right ones. I have no room in my bag though(and 5 flights in the next week) so they are going to ship once they can get the arcade fire for me next week. Discogs.com is slowly building up their RSD 2018 inventory list. I would expect most of the 2018 releases to be online by tomorrow morning. Here's a place to discuss the ONLINE aspects of Record Store Day 2018. I think it's OK here to discuss things like: 1) Online dealers and their on-sale times and offers; 2) Ebay and Discogs listings and completed sales; 3) Short Wants Lists in case other VC members spot them. As for me, I have spent the last several RSD's online. Each time, I usually have 3 or 4 items I want. I have found it just as fulfilling (if that's the right word) to shop and interact online as opposed to standing outside in the cold dawn hours and wait in a line. This year is a little different for me: I had 22 wants on my list, but 8 of the 22 were UK items only (including the four scarce Sigur Ros LP's, which are going to be made available to USA customers at the XL Recordings website at 10:00AM EST on Monday, April 23). I decided I had to go out and wait in line with that many items on my list, but I have already found four of my USA wants at attractive near-market prices on Ebay and Discogs and so I have bought those online. I think I am going to stay home again and do the online thing! Amoeba.com has already posted their online info: they plan to offer their unsold RSD product online at 8:00AM EST on Sunday morning, April 22.

eBay is fine for finding RSD releases, but shopping for RSD releases on eBay on RSD weekend is a terrible idea. Resist the urge and wait a few weeks and the prices will be much more reasonable.

I always find this funny when someone asks for something specific using abbreviations like this on a day with a hundred new releases. The people who know what it stands for are probably looking for it too and the ones that don't care won't be able to grab you a copy if they see it because they don't know what it is...

Just grabbed a cure torn down for $40 on eBay. Only $5ish over retail so not bad. Still trying to find a Survive if anyone sees one.

Was able to grab Floyd, Arcade Fire, the Sundays, and Wire 7" box, which I'm currently spinning and man this thing jammmms. Never heard 'em so full and punchy. Almost put it back due to the kinda steep price, glad I didn't.

Some very fairly priced copies have been popping up on Discogs all morning. Anything under $50 PPD seems decent for an RSD import /2,000.

I just saw on their wall 2 or 3 of the Bowie releases, and the live one was for sure there, at least 2-3 copies of it. Didn't glance at the price but TRS is notorious for overpricing...

Yeah man! Apparently they are not limited to "only" 3000 but to 10000, so i wouldn't worry about not getting one. Saw a few pictures online where the individual number is +7000 etc.
