Ended up skipping the 4 day pass to Cineapocalypse, but I got tickets to Summer of '84, The Cop Baby, Await Further Instructions and Tales from the Crypt : Demon Knight. Pretty stoked! I feel you here. I don’t have enough money for the records I don’t have. It has to be a “stellar” re-issue to have me buy the same record again. I did this with the Mo-Fi pressings of the first two R.E.M. albums. To be honest, the “Anadisc 200” pressings sounded wonderful, but my OG copy of “Murmur” was also really REALLY good. The Mo-Fi “Reckoning” blew away my US stock copy though.

I wasn't trying to say you guys are making this up, it just seems strangely low. Why would they do the lowest pressing in EU? I bet most of those are going to be shipped back to the U.S. Anyway, it made me order a book I will read once and now I have a pink record. It is my favorite Gaslight record, so maybe I don't feel so stupid.

First of all, I didn't make any inside jokes or any jokes at all in my post. I didn't make any judgements, and I pretty much said "you do you," as far as collecting what you want. You seem very angry for no reason. If G+ is something you can deal with, that's terrific, you're able to listen to records that I wouldn't be able to. I'm also not sure how not having room for things I personally don't find acceptable is any kind of "philosophy." Again, not trying to be funny. I'm not a fan of King Gizzard, but I'll admit (like everyone on this site should) that my taste in music is all over the place and some of it is definitely terrible. I wasn't saying Kind of Blue is garbage, I also have a copy in my collection. To me, personally if something is too damaged and that damage affects playback to a certain degree, it's useless to me, essentially garbage in my eyes. It's really cool of you to jump right into personal attacks though when I've tried to be cordial. Popped into your post history and found that we've had exactly one interaction in which I pointed out to you that you missed some sarcasm @lethalenforcer threw out. I think maybe you need to take a little time-out, homie. You're getting really twisted up over nothing.

They are incredible. I was really happy with the midrange sound, and the non-tinny highs. Not that I had issue with the SFs, but older speakers I did. Super well-rounded speaker. I demoed in a room similar to mine, but with lower end equipment. I was shocked how great they sounded right off the bat. I just demoed with Postal Service - Give Up tracks 1 and 2; Save the Day - Through Being cool tracks 1 and 2; and Iron and Wine - Our Endless Numbered Days tracks 1 and 2. Plus some funk the seller liked. The bass he had set up is almost ideally what I liked; but he had never used them for movies... so I'll be exploring that this weekend. I wanted big speakers to fill my house. I got em.

It sounds great. I'm especially impressed with Life Ain't So Shitty which I've always thought sounds shitty on the CD. Sounds awesome here and makes me really rethink the song.
