  15. I actually really like the alternate art for the repress. I just got my OG press signed on this recent tour, if you ever have the opportunity to see them live... DO IT. And Garrett (vocals) is probably the most down to earth, kindest person I've ever met.

  18. Count me as “headline or bust”. Sick of these opening stints. It’s like they only headline Euro shows nowadays.

  21. Looking past the fact that their website looks like a storefront for sexy toys hosted on Geocities, you know you’re a credible source of music critique when you have to rely on mental disorders as descriptors. I thought that was a parody site until I saw how seriously they review all their literally-who metal bands on the front page.

  25. Calibre was honestly just alright. I was expecting there to be some sort of twist or something because the second half of the film became waaaay too predictable for the most part. Needed to be a little shorter too in my opinion. By about 20 minutes at least.

  26. They cancelled a Australian tour because they were in the studio. Some of the members instagrams had them in the studio even after that. Also at the last show of the tour a few weeks ago, James said something about going to finish the next record.

  28. Here you go: Tampa, Florida based instrumental post-rock outfit, Tides of Man, returned today with their new single, “Everything Is Fine, Everyone Is Happy”, revealing a darker edge to contrast their more ethereal first single “Static Hymn” that premiered earlier this month. “Everything Is Fine, Everyone Is Happy” is anchored by driving percussion and ominous synths that paint an almost sinister soundscape for the guitars and bass to explore. The result is an intense composition that exudes energy and inspires the listener to be strong in pushing through whatever barriers they are facing in their life. These first two singles from Every Nothing perfectly capture the diversity of the record. You can check out both singles on the official Tides Of Man YouTube and Spotifypages and Every Nothing is available now for preorder. Tides of Man will be releasing a new full-length, titled Every Nothing, on August 3rd.

  29. Headline or bust, for me too. No matter how much I dig the headliner, I'm always going to end up wanting more Caspian at a show.

  30. Super cool, but im not the biggest fan of remixes (in general). Good price for the bundle if you didn't get a tote the first time around. Now, if only they would repress the Christmas single from a couple years ago

  32. Every time I try to listen I just picture Jesse begging for 15 year olds nudes on AIM at 2am instead of singing and it ruins the immersion. Why couldn't he just kill someone or something that's so much less lame to picture. Super glad this all happened after they released their best album though because they might have ascended into some new type of insane fandom never before witnessed.

  38. I think the evolution in their sounds is pretty evident...new bermuda is very different from sunbather, which was different from roads to judah. In Sunbather the post rock, black metal and shoegaze elements are totally blended together, in New bermuda the heavy elements of their sound are way heavier, and the soft parts softer...they pushed everything to the extremes. From the first 2 tracks off the new record I feel like they are further stretching their sound, it's becoming something different, rawer, moodier...I admit i couldn't be more excited for what's coming next.
