Yep, same exact story dude. The last album of theirs I bought was To Plant a Seed (which I think was the first one?). Anyways, good memories. Same show was headlined by Attack Attack! before they had an album. I think they were touring the "If Guns were Outlawed.." EP.

actually NRW is not longer than this. NRW never crosses paypal dispute 180 days territory. and NRW, while i hate how far out their preorders are, at least has pretty accurate ETAs...in fact, they usually beat the advertised shipping date on most of their releases. he also responds to emails. totally different

Almost my exact intro to these guys. They played at this super small venue in my super small town that literally only local bands played at. When I heard them play they really reminded me of Dance Gavin Dance at the time. They didn’t have any CD’s to buy with them but the Dreams EP was available on Merchnow so I ordered it from there. I was a little disappointed that the “DGD sound” didn’t seem to translate as well on the EP, but I still enjoyed it enough to buy their first full length on CD when it came out. After that I don’t think I listened to anything else from them since.

Yeah, and I really wish they'd put it on a 7" sometime. Really glad I caught it the only time I've been able to see them. That last vocal line is fucking epic too: "I am what I always was: gleaming and empty".

There are only a few bands that I try to collect a great deal of the variants of for their albums. It's really only Converge and the Melvins. I'm literally only 4 or 5 pieces away from an entire Converge collection except for test presses. I'm not that close for the Melvins, but some of their stuff is way too hard to find. However, since I started collecting both bands record back in the mid-90's I don't want to stop collecting variants for either band. I'm similar to you lexicon. I'm running out of room to store all of my records. I basically don't have a dining room table and chairs anymore because my collection has taken up the dining room. Fuck it, i'd rather eat in front of the tv anyway.

Yup, one of the better albums of last year, and it seemed to go largely under the radar. Never expected to like it, but its really good.
