  1. This stuff always brings out the armchair psychologists. Vulnerability is uncomfortable to encounter, especially when it's done in a way that's different than how we'd do it or say it. I don't know this guy or what he's really going through but I'm reminded how vulnerability in others often serves as a mirror for ourselves. And how we respond to it/others says a lot more about us than him. Kudos to him for having the courage to put the worst moments/side of himself out there for all to see. I respect that kind of courage, regardless of the uncomfortable feelings it elicits in me.

  2. Hahaha Post Malone fucking sucks but I'm officially a B Dosia fanboy. Kid is pulling down 450k a year with a first grade education. #inspired

  3. I'd be mad. He's too important we need to study him and figure out which words he knows and doesn't know. There are clearly a lot because he somehow thinks everyone in this thread thinks Post Malone is a rap god.

  4. You might have that backwards friend. You're confusing yourself with me somehow. I know, I don't get it either. Also, the beauty of the internet means you don't have to ask me for my opinion. You put something out there...I get to respond to it! I also don't think you live in Oakland.

  8. Oh heck yeah. I agree. I'll never complain about the price being too low though! I don't think it's unheard of recently though...but for sure it's pretty rare.

  9. The price isn't right for a Double LP ($19.99/Black or $22.99/Clear)?

  10. You are aware you've quoted two different people and referred to them as one person, right? I did have a quick question for you though. Do you use a similar moniker for your other social media?

  16. Genuinely comical at this point. Dude can't let it go, and legit said he hopes someone gets shot over this thread. Classy dude. Also went from making $8k/week to $8k/month in a matter of hours. Guess he got demoted. Better be careful or it'll go down to $8k/year soon.

  18. Just to chime in here... you are comparing an actual talented rapper, (Earl) to a guy who acts like a rapper but is a popstar. There is no comparison there, no one is disputing that Earl is less talented than Post Malone, Post just has commercial appeal cause he records simple pop songs that non-music fans enjoy and gets played on the radio, and Earl is too smart for mainstream music fans to enjoy because his lyrics and music are to complex for their simple minds to understand. Post Malone will probably be making simple catchy radio tunes for the next few years and stay commercially relevant. Everyone who is a fan of Earl Sweatshirt will continue to be a fan but I doubt he will ever be as popular or mainstream as Post Malone regardless of how much more skilled he is. No need to get mad at other people who understand this and recognize the shit music industry for what it is

  19. To weigh in: I may not be a fan of his work but I recognize how massive he is as a cultural figure. He will 100% he relevant in a year, or whenever his next project drops.

  21. Ooh I want in on this. B-Dosia is hilarious just say something he doesn't understand and he rages into incoherence. I like to imagine smoke coming out of his ears as he furrows his brow to let loose some more stupid onto the internet.

  22. Oops, I meant Post Malone. Same person right?

  23. Whoa, be careful dude. He makes over $400k/year. That must be how he affords all that "disani" [sic] even though his dad thinks it's a waste.

  27. To be honest, after hell songs I've been wanting to slide back into the Canada Songs era. I remember as the sun sets, and caught a few Fucking Invinsible sets... and just want something more intense. I mean I hear slight snippets of guitars that make my eyes googly, but keep me disappointed after a build up.

  32. It was never pressed sadly. A sequel to it is coming out next year. I’d bet it will get pressed eventually.

  33. Nowadays, when I see this band mentioned, I can't help but think of this small stand up bit about Fugazi from an old Todd Barry special:

  34. I'll make you a $100 bet that Post will still be relevant in a year.

  35. I love Earl, I like Post. That being said we don't have to see who's relevant in 2 years because Earl has fallen off already due to his lack of music output. Also, sho cares who's relevant, Doris is a timeless record and will forever be remembered, Post has timeless songs like Rockstar and Stay. Fuck relevance, just make good music and you'll be remembered.

  36. https://mysistersfugazishirt.bandcamp.com/album/an-induced-album FREE DOWNLOAD This mini-album is a passive collaboration with Frankie Cosmos. Recently she released instructions to make an album on her site, giving skeleton frameworks to songs (i.e. chords, progressions, or even just lyrics) sort of a Mad-Libs, fill in the blank album. I recorded the six songs as an exercise in songwriting/creativity and here they are! Here’s the original site: http://frankiecosmosband.com/inducedalbum.html
