BTW, Cocteau Twins are horrible live, or at least when I saw them. I actually walked out mid-show and I love that band. Elizabeth's voice was like nails on a chalkboard that night. It's like she had no monitors at all and it was all over the place. And then you have the beauty that is this performance.

That would be my dream. Fraser did just do another live show this week. I really wish she'd officially release some of the unreleased stuff she's played live. Some pretty great tracks on the boots I've heard. Holding out on the color vinyl just because of the price. May cave at some point though as they are one of my all time favorite bands. I've heard rumors that they won't tour the states due to some of our administration's policies but i hope that isn't true since this tour sounds like they may play some older tunes.

Have been into this band for decades, but that price tag on the purple deluxe is a bit much. Will have to think about it. I mostly hope they tour again. Such a beautiful experience live. This and the This Mortal Coil reissues, what's next? Maybe a new Cocteau Twins record?

They gotta do Monster first and next year is its 25th.

ahhhh fuck accidentally ordered the splatter when i wanted the gold black green mix on the plus side also grabbed a copy of Oxbow - Thin Black Duke that had been in my merchtable cart for some time. They normally do 100 each of the splat, merge and gold variants...

So after listening to the VITC tests i actually had goosebumps it sounded so incredible. All the pressings are some of the best sounding titles we have ever produced. I am still blown away. Richard provided insane 24 bit recording and Kevin Gray blew it out of the water. Oh yea and RTI... incredible! So happy to be apart of this crazy three album adventure!

The budget bins were kind to me yesterday, could not believe these were priced so cheap when everything else was so overpriced: Wilson Pickett - The Exciting Wilson Pickett (original mono in shrink) Al Green - I'm Still In Love With You Jr. Walker & The All Stars - Home Cookin' Millie Small - Sweet William 7" James Phelps (Soul Stirrers) - Love Is A 5-Letter Word 7" Marva Lee - Can't We Talk It Over 7" $1 each and buy 2 get 1 free at that, could not believe it. Been hunting that Pickett forever and never seen an original in the shrink. Y'all got to check out that James Phelps single it's so damn good. The Marva Lee was the only severely underpriced of the 7" but all were worthy additions to the collection
