  3. So you bought 6 copies? You're a truly terrible person. That's extreme when it comes to flipping something that could only be bought at 1 show.

  5. It's not creative, and you flaunt it in a community where it's frowned upon. The reactions you get should shock no one, least of all you, who seems to revel in it.

  8. I know this will interest a few people on here given the rarity of the first pressing now especially since Scott's passing. https://frightenedrabbit.bandcamp.com/album/the-winter-of-mixed-drinks Let's hope Pedestrian Verse gets the same treatment soon but from my understanding they changed labels so not sure who has the rights etc.

  13. Props to Norman Records in the UK who were onto this pretty quick, asking if it were alright for them to send my details to Sacred Bones. At least some store(s) are in the know and handling it.

  16. I went to Evolution a couple weeks ago. Never really watched much wrestling. That shit looked brutal. I thought a couple of those girls were straight up broken.

  17. Yep Martin Pike confirmed on their forum they have been remastered by same source as the Switched On releases so seems all part of the same "campaign". Didn't need to get them but I thought I'd go for them to get them all on clear. The reissue campaign has started me trying to fill in some of my gaps on the singles/ep side. Just added the Instant 0 3x7" box and the 10" for Ping Pong & Cybeles Reverie

  18. I got my London Fog in today from Amoeba. I WAY prefer this variant over the smoke regardless of how limited the other one is. Also, up until a few days ago the black smoke was still available via Ipecac's webstore FYI.

  21. EVOKEN - Hypnagogia is streaming in full today. My copies haven't shipped yet and I'm way too excited for this one, so I'm about to dive in. https://www.kerrang.com/the-news/exclusive-premiere-evoken-stream-their-new-album-hypnagogia/ Profound Lore should have longsleeves up on MerchTable tomorrow morning.

  22. I often think it does, especially if a lot of copies do get recalled and replaced. It's a bit of a paradox, but I always think it's cool those rare times when, say, another band's A-Side appears as the B-side for, say, a Bowie 7" or whatever.

  24. Fun fact, Faltermeyer was the producer and synth programmer for the Pet Shop Boys's Behavior (Arguably their best album) because they hated digi-synths and wanted an analog sound. I guess analog-synth fetishism goes back to 1990.

  25. I emailed Simon Holtom asking about the NL...BNIL remaster, since it was said to be available in october. So this both means no more remasters (and deluxe releases?), and since AYS? Remaster and Codex VI are 3 vinyl, the box set shouldn't contain Shpongle 7 and then it might not be so far away? I also told Simon that Red Rocks Live vinyl for the Grand Finale would be super cool... Here's hoping.

  32. Yeah I would more compare them to Dissection. I find their songs a little less straight forward than Mgla... although I can certainly understand the comparison I enjoyed it, unfortunately the touring support (Atra Vetosus) were a bit of a let down, partly due to sound problems but also utilising overdubs to play some of the quieter guitar parts... You have 2 guys on stage with guitars why can't they play it??

  40. well the show was fantastic. Julien is clearly the headliner but Lucy ands Phoebe easily could be as well. All brought great energy. 8-9 songs from each, about 45-50 minute sets, followed by the entire boygenius EP (all six songs). 3 hours 45 minutes but never felt too long. Hard to say if that will remain consistent throughout the tour but what a great show, would recommend it highly.

  41. They can get a copy, I have it for sale right now. I am not sure what me selling one has to do with being a fan? You can like things and sell things too. "Flippers" are collectors too (most of the time.) Also while we are on the subject, my other Ludo vinyl: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bpcxl_UAW42/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
