I have originals of these albums as well and I picked up the reissues. No contest they sound tremendously better. I am selling my originals as we speak. Altered Beast especially works so much better on 2 records.

It’s amazing what a difference there is between records pressed in the era of vinyl-as-an-afterthought when no one cared about mastering and the vinyl was made from recycled plastic cups & the era of vinyl-as-a-main concern when all attention is paid to sound quality. So many records from the 90s - ironically, many of which are so coveted because of scarcity - probably had no right to be pressed on vinyl in the first place with what little care was given.

It was an amazing venue for punk music but it couldn't survive unfortunately. It's actually still a decent venue; the sound is nice, size is good and there are cheap beers to be had. With that said, the charm is gone and it's not at all what it used to be.

Sadly, Asbury Lanes is not what it used to be. It's pretty much a generic cookie cutter venue these days, very much in line with every new venue Bowery Presents has opened the last few years.

I love shows at Asbury lanes, it does suck but my cousin lives 10 mins away so I'm planning a trip to visit the family and we're gonna go. I'm gonna be crashing at his house so the plane ticket is my only expensive besides merch and beers! lol

Cam - I liked this a lot. One of the better examples of how to use the internet in a horror movie w/o it being embarrassingly bad or cheesy. Worth checking out. Candyman - Realized I'd never seen this somehow. It feels pretty dated, but it was still fun. Dearest Sister - More of a drama with some horror lite in it. Even though the pace was a little slower than I'd have liked, the ending was satisfying. I also watched both episodes of Into The Dark over the last week. I enjoyed them both, but neither were amazing. They have a little bit of a TV movie vibe (which they kind of are).

Great looking release! Curious to see final numbers for each color. I know wargod said "First press is limited to 1,000 copies worldwide", but they must've had a second pressing already in the works for other retailers because stock numbers just don't add up to 300/700 across all retailers. I know there are mixed opinions about wanting things to be strictly limited vs widely available but I think buyers should have all the information available to them.
