  2. https://other.supply I posted something like this a while back but decided to take it down and try it again from another angle. The current setup is sort of a "browse recent updates from online retailers" kind of thing. It's like those recent arrivals bins at your favorite shop. Currently it gets updates from amazon, newbury, srcvinyl, urban-outfitters and bullmoose (many more to come) and shows the most recently modified first. Additionally, you can search and see what's happening. It's not perfect. I'll make it better but it is a fun little time and money waster that I thought was worth sharing.

  4. Wait, hold up. Can you elaborate on what’s going on with this remastered audio? For as good as the album is, the mastering really is wonky and leaves a bit to be desired. Did the band feel the same way? Why do two vinyl presses before addressing that? I don’t get it. Is a third press going to feature updated audio? Because that’s a bit of a bummer for those of us who dropped $35 to grab a copy on vinyl – or more if you sprung for the deluxe.

  17. For anyone interested in the indie variant, Dine Alone has posted copies in the webstore. Coolest looking variant IMO.

  19. I've found the lo-fi and ambient genres to oddly have a reverse effect - I'll pop it on when I'm in a slump or bad spot, and the innate ambiance mixed with lush variety in sound textures just mellows me out and picks up my mood and washes over me. There are so many independent artists, and even the more well-known artists are so prolific there will certainly be no shortage of material to explore. Some of my favorites are below: Shlohmo Blithe Field Groundislava XXYYXX Ricky Eat Acid Son Lux (a little more indie, with vocals) Chillhop - Label with a ton of fantastic compilations they release (on vinyl at that) every quarter Maybe something in here will be a good intro to the genre

  20. Thats what I thought. $250 would be on the high end. Still, I'd love to get another solo record. He was supposed to be working on one and then there was some drama with the the tiger army guys. Haven't heard anything about it since. Might be heresy to say it, but I enjoyed this record more than any TA album, except maybe that first one.
