Picked up the WEEZER "Dusty Gems" release, already opened, at a used record store in LA this weekend. Guess one slipped out into the wild early. Here's a closer look for those interested. Sound quality of the pressing is alright; nothing to write home about. But these are all demos (essentially) anyways.

If this happens, either tour or box...or lord help my wallet both...

Wish I could say but I never owned an original copy. Kept putting it off and then this pressing happened. There’s a fine line between white and cream.

I had Transistor when I was younger but hadn't listened to them since. I'm sure I'll get ripped for saying this but I really liked Mosaic and I've now been going through their back catalog. Looking forward to the new album!

THAT I've heard. That I don't buy.

I bought it & it's fantastic! A lot of people have complained about the sound quality being terrible, but mine sounds superb. However, mine is the clear vinyl version. Apparently, there's some coloured vinyl ones (in the same sleeve/packaging ) & they are the ones that are bad. I've tested it by playing digeridoo off that & then playing the original 12" single version & there's not much in it! Analogue bubblebath #5 is a little underproduced, but it was never meant for release.. so to own it, I leapt at it! £40 for four records packed with aphex rarities is a no brainer, in my book. I hope this helps!

I bought two of the pink, so I could smash one and it would be the rarest variant.

Ok I’ve always been leaning more on the side of defending Yip and his tendency to mix vocals really low but this is the place where it makes the least sense. Did a listen to this song a few times and the last few albums. It definitely hurts the story/listenability.
