Having no discrimination or preference towards streaks is ideal. You were just wondering about - or at least surprised by - the lack critiquing on the BSM variant, and I wanted to give you potential insight. (Not that I'm speaking for everyone.) While the BSM variant doesn't 100% match that original description, it has a subtle / cool / "hold up to the light to really see it" kind of splatter going on, and those are just dandy in my books... hence no critique. So after a couple more listens, I think I'm ready to weigh in on the album. Track by track thoughts for anyone who's already familiar with the album and cares to read an opinion. Spoiler tags for everyone else.

Don’t know if anyone cares about Discogs or this particular issue in general, especially on a very old thread. But I just wanted to reach out to all of you and say thanks for everything here. paul/mansun's social channels just posted a short clip showing the various variants. looks like the colored variants are translucent. look very nice but i think with the green i would prefer the opaque. i'm so excited this is finally in my hands in a week or so.

I like seeing peoples very rare or beautiful variants. I also like when people sort of delve into what a record means to them. Also, composition! It is photography after all. Some people just create really beautiful images of their records and setups. If the account just has a lady with her cans out caressing some dollar store record, its a hard pass.

Got my copy of Lost and Gone Forever today from Amazon. Damn, I forgot how fucking good this albums is. And I'm not really much of an audiophile but I think it sounds fantastic and is pretty much dead quiet on my system, no noise, pops, clicks, or anything. Well done.
