  5. Any thoughts of a My Moon 7”? I’m stoked on 10 new songs but hoped that one would be on this too. LOVE that song. It’s neck and neck between that and “Summer of Down” for my favorite song of theirs.

  8. Yeah, I saw that further up this page. The hype sticker on the jacket says early bird / 1200 pink blue starburst so must be an error at the plant. I’ve emailed them so maybe they’ll send out another copy... edit All that aside, it feels good to be listening to a new TGUK album in 2019 😎 And in b4 someone says I’ve got “problems” with my order 😇

  9. You got the wrong variant. Early bird pictures are up on social media and they are as advertised.

  10. There was only one for April that had free shipping for the US, but they have not put up their catalog for May, hoping that we might get a new one.

  15. They are sitting on an endless well of potential presses and if they like money at all they'd press them. Podcast fans seem to be fanatic enough that it might be warranted. 4x LP Time Bobby saga

    Best Ever Math Rock Album

I've got a few recommendations for current Canadian Math Rock bands that sound mostly influenced by late 90's early 2000's math rock and not "Math Core" stuff. Baby Labour - from Guelph, Ontario. This album came out last year and is all instrumental. It's my favorite album of last year. I think fans of Piglet and bands like that would like this. It's two guitars and drums, the two guitarists use a lot of effects and when one of them is playing lead the other usually complements it with an octave pedal to play bass type parts. https://babylabour.bandcamp.com/album/full-legal-stop Luge - This is another excellent album from last year. Mathy with a killer rhythm section. This one has some pretty weird moments, very dancy at times and mathy a as well. Great vocals on this as well. https://hugeluge.bandcamp.com/album/tall-is-just-a-feeling Blessed - This is one of my favorite albums of this year. They are from Abbotsford (Vancouver) BC. I'm not sure how to compare this band but this album has some pretty interesting and sneakily technical passages. Sometimes the vocals remind me of Devo. They tour their asses off and are currently touring all over Canada and the US. https://blessedband.bandcamp.com/album/salt

  19. Yeah. TTL have had that "advice" posted on their site for a while, as a subtle nudge for people to not contact them about warps. Personally, I prefer the alternative method where you put the vinyl on your lap and pet it softly until it relaxes into being flat.
