  1. I’m seeing them on Thursday and am VERY excited. I get to throw my money at the computer screen and watch them play on the same day!

  2. I love a GOOD splatter. And I have no gold splatters. Going for that one. Worried I’d get a galaxy without enough gold.

  3. I feel like I have so many of those haze/galaxy variants. Went with the splatter. Track is absolute killer btw. Cover art, not so much.

  4. Both variants seem potentially rad so I did the logical thing.

  5. AKA, if I pretend to shrug this off, maybe I can downplay the fact I was just leatherfaced by an asshole for a month straight and no one noticed.

  8. This is a long time coming, and after taking all the pictures and putting everything away I realized I put albums 2 & 3 out of order, because that's how they were on my shelf. Not gonna let that ruin my day! This is 100% complete other than a Black-Eyed Snakes 7" that may or may not have ever been sold to the public. 12. I really loved the line-up on Illumination Ritual, Nathan was amazing on drums. Bummed there is a new crew, but Appleseed Cast never disappoints. I'm really excited to hear this.

  13. I broke down and had a listen to the leak. The album is really good, and I'll be ordering the bundle with the Forever Becoming remix. Were it not for a awkwardly attempted blast-beat that Larry just can't get to work with one of the songs, I'd say the album is flawless.

  14. My students are annoying the hell out of me right now, so I am BLASTING Acathexis while they finish their work. They can't hear each other talk. It's pretty fucking satisfying.

  15. These are most likely the same as the standard pressings out there now. No way is Target getting new cuts.

  19. Lucky bastards. Hoping they come around again this year for a headlining tour for the new album. I can't be too upset though. Seen them three times already with meWithoutYou and Hop Along and Caspian.

  27. Hmm, damn...I thought they found the absolute perfect mixture of ambience & riffs on Guidance! Nevertheless, I'm such a fanboy....this will probably become my AOTY anyways!

  30. Yup. I’m not ignoring that it was a little rushed but at the end of the day it was entertaining. People that were looking for something more are weirdos.

  34. Most of us can’t even keep up with a lot of the petty arguments, or meta humor. Sunshine just spent the last month posing as our resident flipper and 99% of the board had no idea.

  35. [PO link is posted] ”Thank you kind sir!” ”Anyone know what this is limited to?” ”I messaged the label and they confirmed /600.” ”Awesome, thanks! Have an upvote.” ”Oof. Can’t wait to explain this one to the wife lol!” “Whoa, I’ve been waiting for this to get repressed. And on my cake day, too? Thanks OP.”
