  1. Legitimate LOL if you think records cost $17.99 in 1999. I’ll pay $20 for a single LP and feel okay about it. I’ll pay $25 if it’s a double LP or something I absolutely must own. But man, I just can’t drop $30 plus shipping for a CD-sourced reissue. I’ll stick with my OG. Maybe the Wolf will go on sale someday.

  5. Showed up yesterday afternoon, so I'll play it soon. Sealed w/ hype sticker (unexpected), also it was wrapped in bubble wrap and double boxed.

  6. Word, the only album I have every variant of is Bad Astronaut - Acrophobe. With this one I'm just like screw it, I won't be charged by Bullmoose for another 2 months. Plus like @Satan mentioned before KRM usually screws pressings up anyways. I wouldn't be surprised if the peacock variant ends up looking like one of those mashy purple recycled records with tons of surface noise lol

  7. No need to ship from abroad, there's UK retailers selling them for £29.99 https://www.recordstore.co.uk/recordstore/recordstore/Live-And-Loud-Exclusive-Split-Colour-Double-Vinyl/67DB0000000 https://thesoundofvinyl.com/*/*/Live-And-Loud-Exclusive-Split-Colour-Double-Vinyl/67DB0000000

  9. This is where I'm struggling as well. It's tough to justify the almost $50 price tag, but I can remember watching this on MTV like it was yesterday. I remember Krist decapitating the In Utero props on the stage so vividly.

  11. I was not counting RSD, everything is closer to $30+ for even the most basic release (ie ep or single) on RSD but that is ok because its a day to help support small mom and pop shops. depends how you collect. if you buy just your fav albums on vinyl you'd prob have about a dozen LPs but if you buy everything you like on vinyl then your in trouble. I think most just buy their fav bands stuff + their fav albums by other bands...but seeing some collections of people I think I am wrong.

  12. Between this and that 7/26 teaser for PSOTY (single? Album announcement? Pre-order?) I feel like you and I are at peak levels of shared post-rock hype, haha.

  14. A few years ago I probably would try to cancel my order with Bullmoose and grab this. Now....just doesn't seem worth the hassle. Plus Bull moose has always been good to me, I'd feel like an asshole doing that to them.

  15. Looks like it already ended. Went to the vault page and you get an error message. honestly that website sucks so bad now. once it was sold just went right into the ground. have not bought a single thing after that 66.6% sale...

  16. With an August 30, 2019 release date we could possibly see preorders begin around the end of the month... Hopefully those reissues too!
