Does this Green Day band have anything to do with the 90s band Green Day that broke up after their final album Warning? Cause that band was pretty good and this is not pretty good.

I like the idea that their post-Warning career is one big fuck you to the super fan who stole the master tapes for their unreleased Insomniac-sounding follow up to Warning. “You stole our sequel to Insomniac and now you’ll never hear good new Green Day music ever again.”

Nimrod is the last record I loved by these dudes. That was a lifetime ago.

I wanted to watch second season, so I watched some recap of first one found on youtube. Then I realized I don't remember a thing and need to watch it again. But.. as this is planned as trilogy, I decided to rather wait for the third and watch them all at once, than having to watch first season three times

I know AI gets love from a lot of Green Day fans but, the moment I heard the first singles, I knew I was listening to a very different thing than whatever 1,039 to Warning Green Day was. I don't even think I dislike that record. It just feels like a different band doing something else that I wasn't that interested in. My little brother loved AI for like a summer before he became a proper metal head. Lol.

Every Weezer album has something salvageable except Raditude.

It's pretty funny seeing how many people here don't like American Idiot yet the general fan consensus is the AI and Dookie are usually the best or 2nd best albums.

If it isn't a vinyl run of Songs From The Black Hole, then they should just stop releasing music.

White album was fun, but honestly that's the only decent album since maladroit. I wish they'd hang it up at this point. (In all fairness I actually really liked White) Old man rant over.

Holy shit this whole package is pretty incredible. The space variant is super cool. It's the clearest record I've seen and the white blob looks awesome. On another note, am I missing something with the book? It's absolutely gorgeous but I can't read anything 😂😂

Mine is also missing. Consider it more of a poignant statement, rather than an annoyance! I'm listening to it now and it's basically the same with the added bonus of more flips. My dog (who has great hearing btw) tells me it sounds wider, fuller, snappier (and also that she wants to be fed in return of this knowledge).

Definitely grab the CD if you're on the fence. The packaging is fantastic and I'm someone who thought it'd be stupid.
