Cool. I'll hold off to see what that looks like. Was hoping for an Artist Arena-like version that Korven signed for The Witch. I still think that silver/black starburst might be the best-looking vinyl I own.

They may’ve tightened up their ability to perform forgettable material in a live setting, but from a songwriting and compositional standpoint they are a shadow of what they used to be, if you ask me. Close your eyes and revisit a time where they dropped January 10th, 2014 as a single one morning. What a tragic timeline for these guys.

Prediction: if VMP gets an exclusive variant of the new JPEGMAFIA it won’t be on color vinyl, it’ll have a cover variant. And the cover will be the Digital/Spotify cover rather than the alt. Art the vinyl edition uses

So a bunch of people, including myself, have been asking for sources and links to articles he discussing, and more information in general. No response. I've done a little digging myself, while the levels he's talking about recording are certainly not good, as far as I can tell it's not out of range of lots of other 'not good' pollution levels we experience on a day-to-day basis. So.... whatever? I'm very happy with my decision to slim down my collection and purchase habits, but I believe I will keep a core collection going.

I like how they say their lineup is the strongest it's ever been right now yet they release a compilation from before when the band didn't suck. Nicole's stupid White Claw cassette was a more worthwhile release than whatever this shitty group of musicians riding the coattails of past members success could muster up. RIP Tom I hope your family is getting some of the proceeds.

I could see that, the mastering is identical but United dropped the ball as always and it's a noisy pressing for the US. Great sonics in the less quiet and affected areas though

It's bananas to me that even though those dudes put out a damn RSD release for a woman's charity they're 'problematic' because John Bradley wrote a shitty wannabe Bukowski story on Tumblr lol. Everyone has done douchey edgelord shit in their early 20's, I just don't see why people discredit all of the band's work over a wack fictional story one of them made up/intended to share annyomously. All I'm saying is that we should hold artists accountable for actual reprehensible bevahior, not for typing words we don't like into a computer.

I like it. I'm going to go for this one, although I wonder if any more variants will come out. Saw her show earlier this year and it was one of the most incredible things I'd ever witnessed.

LOL, bubblegutz was probably reefed as usual. Most of the big name post rock bands eschew the moniker for some reason, but shorthands or labels or genres as a starting point of identification for discussion. Not sure why they do, especially Mogwai. "Mostly-instrumental-rock-metal-band-with-loud-soft-loud-dynamics-atypical-song-structure-if-vocals-likely-used-as-another-instrument-sometimes-with-samples-and-longer-than-3-minutes-duration" I've already written my opinion about Brian elsewhere.
