Found this in a reddit post from later last year. It's worth a shot: "Replacement Instructions: A. Customers who purchased the record online or have their receipt from a brick and mortar store handy may email Brad Sanders / [email protected] a copy of their receipt and Sacred Bones will ship them a replacement copy when the pressing is complete. Message from our distributor: The audio contained on the 12" pressing of 'Halloween Theme (Remix)' released on Sacred Bones is a previous recording of the Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross version of the song, which differs from what was released digitally last year. A lacquer of the 'previous version' was cut and then scrapped, because Trent and Atticus decided that they could improve upon the recording. They went on to create the 'definitive' track that is available everywhere digitally. A MISTAKE WAS MADE when pressing the currently available 12", and the 'previous' version was erroneously included. To correct this unforgivable error, we are reprinting the CORRECT version and will provide it to you free of charge. We are currently working on the repress. As of now, we are expecting these to ship in early 2019 and will update you soon on the delivery timeline. As a NIN.com customer, you do not need to take any additional steps to receive your replacement copy. The replacement offer includes those who purchased from other retailers."1 point -

To add to that, they also commented that Closer To Grey is Chromatic's 7th album, hence the VII on the artwork. They indicated that Night Drive is IV, Kill For Love is V, and Dear Tommy is VI. I really hope it gets released some day.1 point -

My father passed away recently and while he didn’t have many worldly possessions he did have A LOT of vinyl records which he treasured. He owned his own business as a night club disc jockey during the 80’s and 90’s and some of my earliest memories are being with him in the DJ booth memorized by the turntable light illuminating the spinning decks. An entire wall of his home was dedicated to the floor to ceiling shelves of vinyl. Pictured here is just a small sampling (maybe 5%) of what he had that I was able to go through so far and take home (I have more pics and video). He spun anything from The KLF to Bowie to Fleetwood Mac and everything in between. He had a binder with every record catalogued and numbered and put a sticker on each record with the corresponding catalog number. They are well worn, none near mint. They are worn because this was his livelihood and passion. Him and my mom would load up their car with heavy crates and head to each new gig. I’m glad to inherit his collection and along with hundreds of vinyl records I also received his two turntables, both Technics SL-1200MK2 in mint condition. I am a bit overwhelmed with the sheer magnitude of the collection, there are many I just can’t keep due to space. I’d like to bring them all to my house and invite friends and local vinyl enthusiasts over to peruse. I am not trying to make money and will keep all of the vinyl that I hold dear. I didn’t have a very close relationship with my father in the last years of his life for many complicated reasons but there is always one thing I knew he wanted, for me to take and care for his vinyl collection. I will honor that and treasure the copies I get to keep and make sure the rest go into great hands. I wanted to share this with a community which would appreciate this share.1 point

This seems to be a common sentiment. Interesting to me, because I think it's great. Probably not top three Cursive for me, but I definitely listen to it more than their first two LPs.1 point -

That's fair. I can't get into Russian Circles like you guys all do, same with Pelican. Pelican bores me to tears. Ranges, yes... very "standard" post-rock but i like their aesthetic and they work hard and the music isn't bad by any means, and I like that they're pushing themselves with the faster drums. They've earned where they're at. Not every band can be Caspian-level creative. Checking this now. Also, my friend is dating a dude from this Toronto post-metal band called Sarin who sounds shockingly, SHOCKINGLY like Isis. Like, if I played you this album and said it was Aaron Turner, you wouldn't be able to tell i was lying. Very good stuff. https://sarin.bandcamp.com/ EDIT: I like this E-L-R stuff a lot but the term post-metal always makes me think of Isis/Rosetta/COL and this is NOT that. It's more like Alcest, which is awesome. I'd call it blackgaze. Fans of TRNA and Show Me A Dinosaur are gonna like this. Rooted in the hypnotic grooves of black metal. I dig it!!1 point -

I remember Enema originally didn't have a PA on it. I wanted to get it, but by the time I had enough money saved (I was 12), it had changed. I had to dig through all the copies and I found one without PA and my my mom let me buy it.1 point -

In other news, The Shaking Sensations quietly dropped another solid new track a few weeks ago. Probably my most anticipated instrumental release late in the year. Proof that meat-and-potatoes post-rock can still be done well. Also, for any post-metal fans in here the new Cranial album seems like it’s gonna be huge. First track is so dense, so riff-heavy. I love it. http://thesludgelord.bandcamp.com/album/alternate-endings1 point
