  1. Hey all, my name is Connor and I work with Know Hope Records. Just wanted to pop in and let y’all know there was a delay at the plant though they’re slated to come in and get shipped this week. Thanks for your patience!!

  2. It might be time for them to do another singles/b-sides compilation. They've racked up enough non-album tracks for a double LP.

  3. They cancelled my order for 5 standalones, never had them do that before.

  4. Fucks sake, no 'High' reissue and only/1000. Should be at least a 5000 release and High has never made it to vinyl.

  8. A Walk Across The Rooftops, Hats, and Peace at Last. New Remasters /1000. https://thebluenilereissues.com/ Insanely expensive though - 24 pounds each, plus more than 20 pounds shipping to Canada for me for all three. I love this band, but really hoping these appear somewhere with better prices/shipping rates.

  13. Appreciate the speedy responses from everyone so far. (Already halfway there.) I won’t be able to reply with exact costs for another 8-9 hours, so no rush for the remaining 3. I do thank you all for the proficiency though.

  15. I have never ordered something so fast. Amazon is the way to go there too, much cheaper than the official shop. I'm surprised they didn't take this opportunity to do High, would be nice to get that someday.

  16. Odd variant choice but a top 3 Mogwai album for me. Anyone who doesn’t own it just yet should definitely change that.

  18. Hey thanks for the comment. Trying to decide on the tone ... I am thinking walnut. What do you say? Some key features of the creation .... I sat down with a pencil and piece of paper, then worked it backwards from my 10 requirements which were as follows : Collection of about 275 records - don't plan to go far past 300 records. Did not want them to be stacked like books on a shelf where you can only see the spine. Wanted to be able to flick through them for inspiration ... as in a record store. i.e. Front facing Must store vertical - obviously Only a foot or so of depth available behind my char and the wall as you can see in the first pic. (The units ended up only 8" deep) Refused to let IKEA into our oldy-worldy study in central England - Got some IKEA in other rooms but not in the study. Worked out that the weight would end up circa 30 Kg or 65 lbs per unit (I always wanted two rows). So about 150 lbs including the weight of the units. Heavy! Wanted to browse with one hand but retrieve or replace with the other hand ... so it needed the stack not to fall forwards At the same time as stopping the stack falling forward, I didn't want a bar or slat obscuring the art work on the sleeves! No screws showing when I was done with the construction I don't have too many machine-tools or too detailed a workshop but I am handy with basic tools. It took a bit of head scratching but I am really pleased with the result even if I say so myself. The two bottom rows are identical and take 30 x 5 = 150 records each. The two top rows are for display only - they are only one record deep. There is a general order (by genre) per stack and the whole thing does change constantly in terms of the front record so it is effectively a live wall.

  19. Maybe some of you slept on Beware of Safety "Lotusville" as I did (it's been 5 years and I still haven't heard it yet, didn't know they had even newer release; I lost connection probably due to leaving Mylene Sheath back then..) - here's your chance: https://bewareofsafety.bandcamp.com/album/lotusville Vinyl 50% off with code 'lotusville'

  20. Long time, no bump. I recently bought an 1,100 LP collection. I ended up selling 670-ish to a guy for $300. I kept around 130 of the best stuff. It's my best score to date. 300 went in the trash. So needless to say, I have been focused on getting that stuff prepared to sell. Ended up have my personal best day ever at our last local record show a few weeks ago, so I've itching to splurge. I don't buy many modern soul records (there's literally thousands from the 50's-70's that I've never heard). But this struck me. It's a song from 1972 but released by Daptone recently. Pretty great stuff:

  25. Disagree for the most part. I like how it matches their other covers colored pencil cartoon style. The girl outline is a little cheesy looking compared to the rest, but it looks much better when you squint your eyes a bit. Now as for a cover that ACTUALLY deterred me from buying it, that prize goes to Nothing's last record.

  26. Surprised they haven't done a US pressing of Ten Rapid. But I too could get behind a EP+6 pressing.
