Hey gang! So let's just get to it. I recently learned of a friend who had her collection destroyed by an abusive ex, and I felt compelled to help. Being a part of this community has been great even with all the bickering, we are here for one thing, and I would like to help bring that passion back to a friend. I've already sent a mystery package that was met with happy tears, and would like you guys to dig through your collections and help me with this endeavor. ITS HOLIDAY TIME FOR FUCKS SAKE. So. This is what I know. She's into Converge/Knocked Loose/NFG/ALK3/80's goth/2000's pop punk/Type O/bouncing souls/etc... So after speaking with Juan, I was given permission to post this. I'm not looking for rare variants. If you have a double you can let go of, that's more than enough. The list of bands above are just guidelines. Thanks everyone. Let's do this and have some fun.

Don't be bummed when this is just an announcement for the cruise. I'd LOVE an expanded/ remastered version, but I could almost bet all my money it's a Coheed cruise.

Guessing this means a CFUTF repress, very excited. I was lucky enough to snag one of the last copies of the last pressing as my first record back in 2011, but it has a pretty bad surface noise problem. Would love for this to get the deluxe 2x45 treatment.

Scooped this up with the quickness. Haven't heard it, but the original game soundtrack is a game changer and Cody the bass player on it is a super cool dude that plays great music. First met him through going to Jonathan Scales Fourchestra shows in NC and this has always been way to expensive to rationalize picking up. Still pricey, but almost half of what the original pressing was going for.

It is not. It shows an illustration of a leaf / tree that’s strikingly similar to their website during the CFUTF era. FB sleuths have also pointed out that this new snippet has the word “Look!” in the same font as “Attention!” from some sort of January 1979 video — I’m not familiar with it, myself, but I buy it. Furthermore, red is simply synonymous with CFUTF and foxes in general. Super safe bet.

There’s definitely only one colored variant so far – that’s just your usual Discogs listing confusion, commonplace with new releases. I spied your exact listing in question a few days before the more descriptive listing was added. They should be merged, ideally.

I bought it from my local store and it was the clear splatter, I'm guessing that's the standard variant

Sounds like your anti-skate is off. Also, if your needle is a diamond, it should be fine. You might want to clean it first with a stylus brush/fluid, before you spin your next disc.

They 100% do not put out anywhere near even a single hundred records a year. More like 10. Seems like it gets smaller each year as they keep burning customers. But even during their peak... no where near 100 records in a year.

Never knew that BM took care of their employees like that. Makes me want to support them even more now.
