Was able to get the expanded self-titled EP from Rough Trade. I'll wait to get the Peak versions of Cor-Crane and Today's in store. I hope Merge issue This Eclipse on vinyl. And hopefully Touch & Go get around to reissuing Exploded Drawing and maybe remastering Shapes. The latter two are the only ones I need.2 points -
Also available on amazon.fr but thanks for the head up. Their three first albums are perfect ! https://www.amazon.fr/s?k=the+strokes&i=popular&s=date-desc-rank&__mk_fr_FR=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&qid=1579011360&ref=sr_st_date-desc-rank2 points

Polvo Reissues
faaip de oiad reacted to youspinmeround for a topic
The wait is over: Merge will reissue the first two albums from Chapel Hill’s endlessly influential and dearly missed POLVO on February 28! Their 1992 debut Cor-Crane Secret (listen) is pressed on blue & white Peak Vinyl, and its 1993 follow-up Today’s Active Lifestyles (listen) is pressed on red & mustard yellow Peak Vinyl. Both limited-edition reissues feature updated-but-familiar artwork; the former showcases rare posters and ephemera from the band’s archive while the latter includes never-before-seen photos. Reserve your copies of these seminal albums in the Merge store. Polvo superfans, check out our store exclusive 3-LP bundle which adds the band’s newly expanded self-titled EP on translucent teal vinyl, previously only available as a bonus item with our 2019 Born Under a Good Sign subscription series. Hurry—we only have 150 of these sets available! https://www.mergerecords.com/polvo-reissues-bundle1 point -

Seems like this is an official release series. Also for everybody who is searching for the original cover art 😉 I am very curious if they put "NYC Cops" on the debut... JPC (Germany)1 point

Wouldn't be the first time something labeled "indie exclusive" somewhere was also sold by the label and/or the artist. I'm just saying it smells -- to me, at this time -- like bullmoose/banquet/loma vista/sophie's bandcamp are going to end up being the same version.1 point -

Hey everyone we have an announcement to make.... we're expecting! Expecting to make your Record Store Day better this year. We are excited to announce a second pressing of the soundtrack to cult classic The Room. There will be 100 white copies exclusive to Wiseau Films with a release date TBD. But indie stores will be getting the deluxe edition with reimagined artwork, reprint of the original promotional poster for the film, a foreword by Tommy himself, and one more surprise you'll have to see for yourself these will be limited to 500 and will look pretty much like this:1 point -

New Bright Eyes Album 2020
KingTacoMunster reacted to corey. for a topic
I saw them in 2005 as well in Bloomington, IN. It was post the i'm wide awake tour I think, because it was a wide mix of songs dating back to letting off the happiness and a couple new songs that would later be on Cassadaga. It was actually one of the best concerts I've been to. They had like 13 people on stage, harp and all. Conor was shit faced and I was a 14 year old in the 4th row losing my mind. (I originally had balcony seats and the venue let me swap mine to sit next to a friend who was buying their ticket and hooked it up)1 point -
