Got my albums in today, and they sound GREAT! I asked in the notes section of the order for Sam to sign/doodle on the covers (he did it with my OG pressings of Dog Problem and I&L so I figured I'd give it another shot with these) and this is what I got! I absolutely love them! Also, Sam messaged me about my tweet (what I shared a few posts up) and since I had already ordered, they refunded my entire order.

the original recording had serious technical issues. we are pretty convinced the guitars are completely out of phase on the whole thing. It also didn't help that those prior reissues were literally just a pressing of the CD audio with no real mastering being done for vinyl

Little Elephant is probably the best case scenario when it comes to lathes. They have YouTube versions of all the performances and I would say the vinyl is slightly better than those. I have the TWIABP and Modern Baseball lathes from them and say they are pretty good.

I think this would be a pretty good show. I actually really like Alien Ant Farm and they put on a great show, if you can get past the goofy name they have great music.

I absolutely love the way this album opens. Man. It feels like it literally picks up where D&D left off, as if it’s been a continuous journey. It wouldn’t feel out of place if there was a 30 second recap / montage that played right before the record starts; Previously, on Caspian;... and then drops us right into Wildblood.

Lost is such a strange release... on one hand, the music is absolutely gorgeous, and I find it to be far better than the studio recordings. Plus the box and inner sleeves are all very nice. On the other, the talking between songs is a bit much... Especially the hokey “letters” on Side E. Along with the artwork, it seems like the album really is more of an album for the concert, than an album for Lost. Could have just cut out all the fluff and it would have been a much better release.
