  1. Reddit is a gold mine: ”A few questions: are these multiple copies of the same album, but in either different colored vinyl or different pressings? If so, are any of them limited pressings (ala Tertia)? I am just wondering, given how hard and expensive I have found purchasing records to be nowadays...if this is something more common, it starts to make sense why things are getting harder and harder to acquire. I am not angry per-say, but it does make it more clear why prices are so high on the secondary market.” Yes. My Caspian collection is the reason for the bubble.

  2. I used to f*ck with the CYLS store so hard. They were always super fair on pricing and Keith was great at customer service. Agreed - simpler times.

  6. FFVII Remake is glorious. That's all. Reminds me so much of Kingdom Hearts 1 in combat but better.

  7. I'm listening to Barrens right now and enjoying it so far. I'll need to see how this sinks in over the next few weeks.

  9. If you don’t have their live album, I’d recommend it.

  10. Listened to Barrens earlier & it was solid, not great imo. All 3 of these releases are far better to my ears.

  13. Here's how I flatten my records. It works every time, and as far as I can tell, doesn't damage the record. Note: It'll only work if you have hardwood/tile/laminate floors... - Put the vinyl into a generic or trashed sleeve. This will prevent the sleeve of the album you're trying to save from getting damaged. - Lift up the corner of your record shelf (assuming it sits flat on the ground) - Place the album underneath it, and set the shelf back down. - Forget about it for a month or two. Every record I've done this with comes out completely flat, and by the time you've forgotten about it, it'll be a nice surprise when you go to put another one under there The solution is either money or time, and I'm a cheap, patient bastard.

  14. I don’t know how they’re thought of around here (if at all), but I’d kill for a new Soup album right about now.
