Lots of people actually prefer good old black vinyl.

The two separate orders I had made during the free shipping time period just showed up today packaged together, both still say unfulfilled. So anyone still waiting you might never get tracking.

Happy to report that I did end up getting her a copy at retail price (and one for myself, thankfully)!

If I were to guess, I’d say between 3-5000. seemed like they were (are? Given the price of discogs rn) plenty to go around.

We were both wrong. Lol 12 test presses according to PortMerch. I had a question about my order yesterday so i also asked the inventory guy about that.

That's a shame. Dark Operative being unable to get records pressed would have been a tiny upside of all this.

I ordered one album on 4/14 and received it 5/7. Your post reminded me of that order and it's been sitting in my apartment lobby since it was delivered... oops. All good though.

From the EU store: First pressing info: 300x Transparent w/ Splatter 200x Transparent Purple (not US version) 100x Classic Black all variants are still in stock. i understand and also dig the concept of different, limited variants. But I don‘t get why making a black one most limited, especially when the color is totally unrelated to the artwork...

I completely agree. I have no idea why Ramseur Records wouldn't press their entire back catalogue. They could make so many pressings and easily make a great profit.

Yep. That is an underappreciated Meters record.

Also has Hey Pocky A-Way which is one of my favs. Love The Meters!

This record is super-good. My only (minor) complaint is how many times he sings the chorus in the album's first track. Like, it's excessive.
