  1. So I imagine this album would have me excited when being sat at my table. Not quite listening in on the music yet as I'm talking to the waiting staff, they're nice people, a bit robotic and we share a laugh. Maybe a bit flirty? I can't read this guy, but would take him out for a drink. Oh yeah, the album is on now, I think. So I'll have one of those tiny starters that cost $20-40 a piece because it contains some foraged pubes and ants and that pie please. Sounds lovely. Gin and tonic to start with and a bottle of your second cheapest house white please. Hope my partner doesn't mind me flirting with the waiter again but he just has those "Go to bed" eyes that years of staring a 1000 yards does to a man. Did the track change? Can't tell. Anyway, my starter is out and it's just great, wow, taking one for the gram, nice gin? It's cheap Gordon's gin for fuck sake, but I won't fight. Here's comes our main and the waiter is walking like John Wayne and good lord I could go for some of that right now, but I can't make it too obvious as my partner is really starting to notice I'm laughing at everything he says and does HAHAHAH yes please more second cheap wine please HAHAHAHAH. This is NOT A PIE it's a LIDDED STEW FUCK THIS PLACE FUCK THEM but I will eat all of this and not complain one bit but will leave a polarising 1 star review even though we otherwise had a nice time. No dessert, bill please. Fuck was this music on a loop or was that the album? Okay then.

  5. They've slowly doing stuff like this for years. First presses and earlier presses of their stuff don't usually lose much value and they pump some money into the label. I don't understand why people have a problem with that. Based off their patterns, I'd at least expect this 25 Anniversary Series to include: Good Riddance - For God And Country Lagwagon - Hoss and maybe NOFX - I Heard They Suck Live They could do Tilt and Wizo, but I don't think that would be cost beneficial. Also wouldn't be surprised if another band they picked up later put out an album in '95 that they could release as a "25th Anniversary" press. Anyway definitely picking this up and wish they'd come around to pressing Making Friends on color, or give me a Good Riddance - Operation Phoenix repress.

  8. Who let you out of your containment thread? This one is for nostalgic tunes that are not obscenely regrettable and cringe inducing. You can’t be here.

  10. What, more than likely, happened. The Big Choice records were for the anniversary tour. Tour was postponed, then eventually cancelled. Assuming Face To Face just scrapped touring plans for the rest of the year, Fat just sold the copies. No use in selling a 25th anniversary record on it’s 26th year. Can probably do some research and the tour cancellation announcement and when those went up, we’re probably the same day or week.

  11. I ordered the blue. Looks nice, sounds good. Armageddon was sending out delay emails and stores haven’t gotten them either, so I was surprised when I got a shipping email and received it a few days later.

  13. I feel old since all the reissues of the past couple of years came out when I was in high school and seeing these bands on the regular. Plus, nostalgia is a bitch so I'm buying. Also, why can't Fat put up a couple things at once instead of one at a time? I'm sure someone here has the answer.

  18. I missed out when the repress went up last fall. Sold out in minutes. Knew a tour copy would be my last hope. Was first in line at the venue, when doors opened i grabbed a beer and ran to the merch table to be first in line. Stood there for like a half hour until the washboard player (forget her name) came up. Said cash only because the bassist had the card reader. I asked her if she could hold something for me because at that point the line was stretched out to the other side of the venue. She said she couldn't and saw a look in my eyes that resembled that of a broken man. She then went all the way down the street to the restaurant the others were at to get the card machine and I was able to get one of the two glow in the dark /100 variants they had. Vinyl completely sold out before there was even a dent in the line. I was able to get it signed and stole Joe's set list which is signed too. And that seven inch series is awesome. A lot of them are alt versions of older and newer songs but definitely all the superior versions. Definitely recommend if you're willing to spend the money. @hallowken78 please tell ya boys to put them on spotify 🙏

  19. Cool thing to do right NOW?? What, like those people are victims for showing their real selves and saying stupid shit? Makes it seems like your against calling out dipshits for being dipshits. By the way, did Cam ever do this? Not sure why you even brought this up. Did someone call out one of your hero’s for being a secret racist piece of shit?

  21. I'm not sure it's a good thing when a customer has to print their own graphics to raise the standard of the finalized product. But I respect the effort.

  22. Sorry to bump this thread. I just wanted to share a little project I was working on. There are some details missing from the vinyl boxset that were on the CD box so I decided to add them. I recreated the graphics in photoshop and printed them out on clear rub off transfer paper. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. In certain light you can see the transfer film but for the most part it looks good.

  25. yeah. it sucks. Mail volume is actually increasing but funding and staffing is decreasing. I imagine, in most post offices and sorting facilities, express gets sorted before priority, priority before first class, media mail absolute last. So that's why Media Mail is sitting without scans for days at a time. On top of that, volume is so high and staff is so low, that mistakes are more frequent. All it takes is a package going into the wrong bin. I highly recommend, if you're buying something that is high value or really important to you, try to upgrade to Priority. Especially because it includes $50 of insurance. It's also super annoying from a seller standpoint, because although I let all of my buyers know that Media Mail is significantly delayed, I've had a few buyers freak out when their package is scanned twice and then no scans for two weeks. As if I drove to Michigan, retrieved the package and kept it or something. After selling on discogs for the better part of a decade, I've received less than positive feedback for the first time, twice, in the last two months. Both buyers received their records without damage within a month with $4 media mail shipping, but they left negative feedback because it "never took that long before".
