Yeah, seems like someone, somewhere along the line fucked up and sent the wrong files to whomever. Be it the jacket art, or the audio files. Kind of a big deal for a release like this, but overall, not really. Im just curious what version of the track list was supposed to be used.1 point

Which is fine, but at least take it in the right direction. I'm hardly a conspirator, but my local post office did receive a new supervisor / manager a couple of months back, when a lot of this USPS shit was going sideways with Trump. If I mail something out later on in the afternoon, and it's particularly slow in the lobby with few people to eavesdrop, some of the associates will vent or provide a little inside scoop to what's going on. And – again, at least at my post office – they had their "tried and true" routes completely reworked, against their will. These new bodies were put into higher positions and given the power to completely rework the system they use to distribute packages – a system that seemed to work just fine. I think my post office is busting their ass as I'm sure yours is. I often see mail delivery trucks cruising around town at 6, 7, even 8 PM. When you consider the sheer amount of shit I order online, including countless records shipped Media Mail [which is prioritized pretty low on the totem pole of mail delivery options right now], I maybe deal with 1 or 2 parcels that seem to get stuck or take an abnormal amount of time. And it's been that way for a long, long time. International shipping has really taken a hit with Covid, but I don't pin that on any one party. Especially not my local office. I think a lot of us order a ton online – 90-95% of my collection is comprised of online purchases, easily – and we probably take the average delivery for granted. For every 5 records we got on time or early, there may be 1 that's held up or taking a questionable route through USPS, and we choose to focus on that. I don't have stock or friends or family in the USPS. There's no personal agenda with this post. But I really do think they're burning midnight oil just to stay afloat and it's too easy to harp on the 1-2 slow deliveries a month when there's 5-10+ that actually arrive on time.1 point

I know your post is attempting a humorous angle, but just so we're clear, you do feel as though we should not be supporting or funding USPS... right? That's the context you're unironically applying here?1 point

Pretty sure that translates to 2000 total pressed (per the hype sticker) and 1350 went to US distribution.1 point

This thread is a somewhat inactive vaporwave thread. OP or someone else switched the title to Japanese text because they had a tantrum when I insisted strongly that posting about "group buys" would be spamming this thread, especially for non-US people, and that Reddit was better for that stuff. Ofc group buys don't exist anymore, not just because of corona, but because some labels like MPF started actively refusing group-buy orders. Also, My Sister's Fugazi Shirt is an OG user on these forums. I appreciate all his updates.1 point -

if bullmoose or whatever other site fails for you in a few hrs (or tomorrow): yet another link to a local: https://goodrecordstogo.myshopify.com "elton is not going to be an RSD First, from what I know. no plans to repress this." owner of store is well-connected. there is some robyn left, too, and, i don't know what else you are looking for, but it may pop up. the website is a bit screwy. you might even call tomorrow. in fact, that's what i'd probably do if you are still on the hunt for something. he can't get everything up fast enough. i saw crates of crap that said RSD in the back in the afternoon that had not even been opened yet (unless they had been resealed with other items for storage) -- dunno, they all had an RSD label. it's a one man show (with a helper) who has decided to run the store, basically, for the last 6 months on his own due to Covid. also, if you like the old 97s, they have literally thousands of copies (lead singer is an investor in the store). and lisa loeb visits the store each time she's back in her hometown. that is all.1 point -

I can’t believe this album isn’t clicking with a lot of people. While Fortress and Volition are my favorites I feel like this one resonated with me almost instantly. The B Sides are so good too. The Duelling Cavalier is insane.1 point -

I always have mixed feelings with new SP stuff... I go in open-minded but with low expectations, and I can usually find some positives, but then things just don't stick for very long. I think the biggest disappointment for me as a life-long fan is that everything they've done since they started declining commercially is clearly marked by an effort to get back to their original relevance, instead of just making whatever the hell they wanted, which is what made them great to begin with. Although, I gave Oceania another listen recently and I have to say it's holding up really well. As a sequence of songs I think it's actually stronger than Machina. All it's really lacking is that unhinged side of the SP spectrum that we will likely never hear again (think XYU, etc.), and there are a few unfortunate lyrical choices, but all in all it's a beautiful record that really should have made a bigger splash. Anyhow, these new singles are sneakily catchy and I'm enjoying them; it definitely feels like a more upbeat continuation of The Future Embrace.1 point

The R/W/B tri-color came out really nice, glad I sprung for that one. Also, despite it being an unpopular opinion on this thread, I really enjoyed this record. Reverie is one of my favorite songs PTH has ever done.1 point -
