All this should be taken with a giant grain of salt since I've only put in the one listen, but it captures a lot of the best parts of Joy for me – crazy-strong hooks, dirty guitars, and A+ grooves – and makes them the entire angle of the record. There's nothing quite as chummy and clanking-beer-mugs-together as Danny Nedelko, nor any slow-burn ballads like June. There was one track that began a little slow but turned out to be a brief guise before walloping you over the head. I think you will be pleased.

It was sold at the Horror Nights Tribute Store in Universal Orlando earlier this month. All 500 copies sold out on the first day and it was confirmed that it won't be repressed. I miss the event as well. They opened a couple houses during the daytime as a test run over the weekend and they may be doing it again throughout the rest of the season. Rumor is something will be announced today about it.

Yeah, they've already had a pretty lush sound, no doubt, but I'm almost taken aback by how accessible and "full" they sound this time around. There are still little flourishes of experimentation and what makes Fleet Foxes, Fleet Foxes. So it's hard to complain. Currently on Young Man's Game and have to give a nod to how energetic the percussion has been as a whole so far. I think that's a big part of why it feels so much more "active" and Summer appropriate. I suppose so, yeah. The prints and signed versions are neat but I've never been (as) compelled to spend extra on multiples, myself. Felt a lot easier and less conflicting with Crack-Up... but I guess having a nice handful of good variant options is nothing to complain about. Yeah, they're really capturing a lot of seasonal vibes across their albums. As a whole, Shore has a totally different energy from anything else they've done – at least speaking to whole albums – and I think you'll dig it. Not to oversell it; I'm sure someone, somewhere, will insist they don't sound as authentic or something. I'm pleased with it and I've still got 5 songs to go.

They do as long as they still have the license. Most box sets don’t see another press, but a lot of the bigger stand alone releases do. BttF just got a repress so you are good there.

My first listen kinda just washed over me. Second listen I really felt like I enjoyed it more. It feels more like Intersections to me than Standards (which is a good thing as I thought Standards was a bit of a drop in quality, awesome drums aside) and is arriving at a perfect time of year coming into Autumn/Winter. Oh, and the packaging is awesome. It's a proper bulky gatefold, and the BSM pressing came out beautifully.
