Band sells out arenas world wide....shouldn't have ever played music because some random dude online doesn't like them. Right.

Comparing Grohl to Cobain 25 years later is laughable. If Nirvana was still making records in 2020, they would most likely be shit too. Just because the stones release a crap album now doesn't discredit from their amazing 60s and 70s output. Same with Grohl. The first foo were good but everything else has had the trajectory of any other major popular artist.

So, it's like 5 years into 2020 at this point. SEVERAL of my top-tier, all time, top 5, etc artists have released awesome records. Some early in the year, some like 2 weeks ago. I'm pretty sure this is my favorite/ the most important album this year. It barely qualifies as a 2020 record, but I'm pretty sure it won from the jump. I can't wait for the next one. I mean fuck. Imagine if they were writing this shit in April/ May. 😳

It must be super fun or satisfying in some way. Saw the first single on SNL, wasn't really feeling it. Barely listened to Concrete & Gold either, and didn't find a whole lot to love in Sonic Highways. Maybe I just don't like this band anymore? The first three records are still top notch, as is Wasting Light, however.

According to their Insta this should be one of the new remixes from Black Stallion. I'd throw this in that reissue thread for that if anything. Stoked to hear it though. Knife Party remix is great.

The splatter is still available and looks great. I spun my orange the other day. It sounds good, but the remix will take some time to get used to. Especially given how many times I've heard this digitally / on CD / live. Haha.

They're definitely just a "generic pop rock band" but the blue album was all over local radio when I was kid, then Hash Pipe came out when I was really into skateboarding and weed at like 14 or 16. So, I connected. To each his own. I'm not buying new Weezer or anything (actually I did pay like $2 for the black album).

The price tag.

Bull Moose have always capped pre-orders and still do. And they’re generally pretty damn good about it. I’d say at some point in October, they tweaked that fine print with the Preorder button. And they did it solely to cover those few cases where they can’t deliver, or oversell, or receive less than they ordered, etc. It’s entirety to cover their backs and I totally get it, but it doesn’t instill the utmost confidence. Then again, what is guaranteed anyway, outside of death and taxes?
