For some people with a decent music collection, HD space matters. Each of these tracks is WAY bigger than it needs to be. I just resize the album art anyway but I don't know what the point of having files sizes that big for such shitty quailty mp3's. And sure, #firstworldproblems.

I think Cleopatra Records owns Kung Fu now which explains the price hike. Similar to Craft Recordings owning Victory Records, though their releases were hit or miss with sound quality, prices weren’t bad.

I think You’re Gonna Hate What You’ve Done was my favourite song from last year. This album is soooo good. I’m surprised there isn’t Nothing levels of hype surrounding these guys around here.

I got this record in much sooner than I expected. Got it last Friday and have had a chance to listen to it multiple times. I’ve been streaming it since it came out, but putting it on the table, cranking it up, and just taking it in has been a completely different experience. The record is so warm and thick and generally just sounds insanely great. Heavier than any other HUM record. I love this album and can really find no wrong in it. It’s a great record to put on for an escape. I especially love how it sounds like they picked up right where they left off with Downward is Heavenward.

They emailed me offering to swap my black pressing for one of the others. Did not take them up on the offer. Maybe I missed out, but for some reason, this record feels natural on black. Perhaps because of the artwork. Can't wait to get it!
