being "widely" available means secondary market, therefore they don't make money off it. If Rev offered them to repress their non-rev catalog they would have been stupid to say no even if they tour or not. Also they said there are other things in the works too.

Received an email from Chris directly today. Said there was an issue with Stamps.com misbilling them that tied up a lot of money. Had to wait for a reimbursment to repurchase postage. Shipping out this week. Suggests to me that the original shipment notification/tracking in January has been rendered void by that issue with Stamps.com. And sounds like we'll have the records in hand soon!

I have a special filing cabinet in the kitchen for flexis. Mine is plastic and has a replaceable liner, but I've also seen some metal ones. Once the cabinet is full, I move them to a bigger cabinet on the side of the house. These nice gentlemen come pick up the cabinet contents once a week. I can only assume they are achieving them for me somewhere, hopefully in alphabetical order. But for real, I just keep them with my 7"s.

I don't know the full story but didn't a bunch of people not get the record from the label? Can't remember but something definitely happened with the pressing at the time

Got the 6131 exclusive today. Looks awesome and it came with the flexi which was a nice surprise. how do many of you store your flexi? Inside the jacket or outside the jacket?

Haven't had much time or energy to watch many movies while my kids' school was on extended closure due to Covid but now they're out of the house during the weekdays again. In the last couple of months I watched... Crystal Lake Memories. Took me a few days to get through this beast of a documentary but I loved it. I am a big fan of the (first six) Friday the 13th movies and really enjoyed this inside look at things. Sleepaway Camp. Went into this expecting an F13 ripoff, unaware of the "notorious" ending. Pretty ho-hum up to those last few minutes which I don't think I can ever un-see. The Burning. Another F13 ripoff but more entertaining than Sleepaway Camp. Not overly noteworthy other than it features a young Jason Alexander. Fun but kind of unremarkable. Scratched the itch of wanting to watch a made in the 80's F13 clone. Nightmare Cinema. An anthology movie where each character finds themselves inside a short horror movie after entering a theatre. A little uneven and Mickey Rourke was super weird as the projectionist but it was good and I'd watch it again. My favourite short was the one with Elizabeth Reaser from Haunting of Hill House. Super Dark Times. Teen movie where one kid dies accidentally and the paranoia within the group of survivors causes havoc. Well done but more suspenseful than horror. Summer of 84. Another teen movie with a mystery suspect. I kept thinking "No, it can't be. That's too obvious" but I was right. I found I was waiting for a twist that never showed up. The ending was good however. I would recommend this one. Lately I've been working through some of the Last Drive-In stuff on Shudder and loving it.

Man I was trying like hell to find this for you yesterday. Typing random lyrics I was hearing into Google, having my wife SoundHound it on her phone while it was playing on mine. Absolutely nothing. If I were to guess, they were probably some random MySpace band that faded into obscurity after a single EP or something. Vocally though they kind of reminded me of Senses Fail. Obviously not them, but still. Kind of hard when so many bands around that time kind of sounded the same 😂

Don't know it, but kind of dig it. Having a thread of "What band is this?" posts is actually not a bad idea either.

Finally got my copy of "As Daylight Dies" today, and DAMN. They really nailed it, sound is phenomenal, the whole thing looks super nice. Packaging, LP's, even nice inner sleeves, I mean this is just a excellent release. Seeing the quality and care that went into this I really hope that End of Heartache wins the next vote. I would buy it without a second thought.
