My theory is a factory employee got hungry and thought no one would notice a small bite missing from several copies. His manager Talbot walks in, holding a red thermos filled with piping hot breakfast soup, the eggs still bubbling and small bits of bacon swimming up to the surface. Talbot looks towards his employee Reynaldo, mouth full of cardboard and hard vinyl, and gasps. “We don’t allow this,” Talbot whispers. Reynaldo turns in shame. “A part of me wonders,” Reynaldo says, “if I always wanted to get caught.” Talbot is silent. He grabs a clipboard and he writes on the attached paper. Reynaldo knows what it says but he can not resist looking. He walks behind Talbot and places his chin over his shoulder and reads: Make 18 more copies of the Yellowcard record. That’s what probably happened, based on the info shared above.

Got both albums at once. If you only got one of the two items in an order I would send a polite email to topshelf, they have never split my orders before (probably 50 orders deep with them).

They stated in the email that you can keep the black LP's you were sent while they send the orange ones in white sleeves. That's awfully rad of them.

I think we all forget that this band has been around for close to 30 years, has toured most parts of Europe, Japan, Australia, parts of South America and is the only punk band I know of that has toured in India. They have toured with some of the biggest bands in the genre including Blink-182, Descendents, Face to Face, No Doubt, and Bad Religion. And their early records have never been repressed. MxPx has a huge fan base.

I know it’s not in their interest and would hurt their sales for future FOMO releases but labels should start investigating and canceling orders that end up on eBay same day as the pre-order sells out.

First time listening to this band and immediately hooked. Got the Tor Johnson exclusive.

I'm glad I missed it. It would have been unreasonable to buy that many expensive records in one shot. I'm in no hurry. I honestly won't be surprised if they release complete sets in the future or if they put more up of each release in the store.

I mean, look at the cassette release. I'm sure plenty of labels would have dubbed more because the demand is certainly there, but he just doesn't seem interested. Only one post about the vinyl on insta... not much fanfare for something he has to know people want. I want him to press more just for the sake of making more money but it doesn't seem all that likely tbh
