Quite an interesting list of artists on the Covers box set. You would usually expect Trivium, Machine Head and all the other generic metal bands. Quite cool to see some many awesome indie and pop artists on it and also Sam Fender, who can fuck off

The tribute collection sounds very interesting, but I'm not going to buy the vinyl. I wish they would have mixed up the tracklisting. I don't want to hear 9 consecutive versions of Nothing Else Matters. I'll listen to this album on shuffle on Spotify.

What a weird mix. Seeing PUP, Phoebe Bridgers, and Darius Rucker on the same official Metallica cover album was not on my 2021 bingo card.

Surprised at myself at how much I am enjoying this record. I didn't pay full attention at pretty much anything after DU as I found all those records somewhat meh...different mindset at the time I guess...but really liking Bodies. And as been said, feels all over the place musically but it's in line with what I have been listening to lately...post-punk synthwave-influenced sexy boy music.

I have some vivid memories of their singer spitting through the set. Spitting on the stage, into the air, onto his shirt, onto the ceiling of the venue, but thankfully not into the crowd. I can stand being a 100% sweat man during crazy pits and bumping into others for like 3 hours but I can’t deal with spit lol, I stood off to the side for that show. They were also selling two tees for $15 which I still have. A week later I saw Russian Circles in the same city and it was cool to see Brian twice. thank you for reading my blog post

With your current need, get a 4x2 at least. You'll grow into it quicker than expected.

I've used the Ikea Kallax/Expedit in various formats (2x1, 2x2, 4x2, 5x5) over the years. Aside from a custom made shelf, these are real hard to beat.

From what I can tell, the storage cubes at Ikea and Walmart are virtually identical. I've gotten them from both stores but Walmart ships for free. They come in various configurations. The 2x2 is plenty large enough for 100 records but I've learned it's best to buy larger for a growing collection. I've never owned the kind from Target but they look considerably thinner/flimsier.
