This...Definitely feels like @jhulud is going to get tricked into the adult film industry in a position I can't imagine he'd enjoy.

I've got a few different presses before and after that 2012 copy of yours, and I have no qualms at all with any of them. But I'm still eager to hear this new remaster... and I really need no excuse to revisit these albums.

Side note and not to wish this juju, but I have a feeling there's gonna be another shutdown. New cases is back up to the height of the second wave. Not good.

Bump just to keep the hype alive. Buddy did another livestream today and I asked a bunch of stuff. He said he already has the Bayonet records done, but he hasn't put it up because he's already pushing so many things, so hopefully that comes soon. In reference to the Fire it sounds like he's planning on waiting till next year. He said the boxset idea was back on for next year (20th anniversary of the band). Which honestly kinda sucks cause I already have all but 2 records (Waiting Room, Fire), so if I'm forced to buy a boxset... New record is called "Hell Is In Your Head"

The year was 2018, and we had just convinced the almighty and formidable 27 to partake in our first ever Seven Inch Of The Month Club, and they kicked off the entire series with a brand new tune titled Innocent Lovers. Along with this song came the news that the band were working on a new batch of songs that would become their first proper album since 2010's Brittle Divinity. While we were elated to work with them on a new single, imagine our joy when they asked if we wanted to take on this new full length as well! Of course, we did not hesitate. A Billion Searchlights is the first 27 full length album to include Maria's sister Terri Christoper (Vardlokk, Dusty Skull, Phantom Glue) on drums, as well as Adam McGrath (Cave In, Wear Your Wounds, Nomad Stones) on guitar. In addition, the opening track Arms Of A Mother (Keep Going) features performances and production from Alex Rose a.k.a. Nightblind (Minus The Bear), who even lent a hand to the updated version of Innocent Lovers that you’ll hear on this LP. The artwork has another Minus The Bearconnection, as it was intricately hand painted by the colorful Cory Murchy. A Billion Searchlights was written and recorded over a handful of years, and was wrapped up in early 2020. However, the timing felt all wrong for an album with as much to celebrate as this one, so we held off for brighter days! Now that it feels like the sun is rising once more, we can put our searchlights away and find the strength to Keep Going. The vinyl features some of the most intricate patterns we've done to date, all tying back to art or lyrical themes. The "Searchlight" variant will be exclusive to the MOMR store and not available through any stores or distros. Pretty sure I saw Mitch make a comment on IG that early bird ticket buyers would get a download of the new album (presumably upon release). But that would indicate it should be out before that show takes place. Isn't Keith separated/getting divorced? Could've been hold ups surrounding plans if stuff was going down with that...

Yah I’m curious what the delay was. Various members on various podcasts saying “soon” / “next week” etc to some degree of an announcement and just crickets. Also really curious what the TID The Season line up is gonna be. I got tickets cause 2019 was so fun I didn’t wanna miss it even though the bands aren’t announced yet. Haha.

Cute. But I'm actually hoping to get that Panopticon on black with the original art. Its not even my favorite LP from them but I for some reason need that original cover and the vinyl needs to be black. Its a sickness.

How could you argue with the creative mind behind such album cover masterpieces as this?

I saw Pig last night and was absolutely floored by it. First new movie I’ve seen in a theater in 16 months, and it was a perfect reminder of why and how much I love seeing movies.

I really like the quality of TLR vinyl, but am I the only one who would like more simpler vinyl designs? Not a huge fan of pinwheeled splatters with million different colors :D. Relapse does that too with almost all their releases.

Lemme know when they do another spray painted cover.
