Even from their early releases they were all over the place. The last two full lengths they seem to have had the means to really explore weirdness. The first band that I came to mind when I heard them was 311. the band from the newest album I’m getting is janes addiction.

They sent out an update saying they expected it to take between mid-to-late September to ship them all out. I assume they printed the shipping labels and yours is in line. Also because it seems many are showing up banged up/damaged, they may be repackaging the boxes...but that's just speculation.

Never really listened to this band before...now I am after seeing all the hulabaloo everywhere about the release. I'm not hating this at all. They sound all over the place in styles and so many other bands come to mind for each song. It's weird...in a good way...like in "Don't Play"...it sounds like collaboration between Snapcase and PUYA...so bringing NYHC with some Latin rhythms. I can dig that.

My favorite is when people claim that they were slighted or deceived by the label when this happens. Especially when there is no mention of a one-time press or limited run. "They lied to me and now I have to pay another $30 to own this on colored vinyl otherwise my collection is inferior! Such bullshit. Greedy ass dishonest labels. 😭" I've read comments on social media that are aligned to that with ~90% accuracy, no irony or exaggeration.

Finally finished BNCF last night (school +soccer + softball all starting back are playing havoc with our weekday watching times!) and we both really enjoyed it. Much darker / more fucked up than the Channel 0 stuff, but still very much in that vein. There’s one scene (I won’t put spoilers here, but you can probably guess which one @Rip) that I’m honestly surprised and impressed Netflix let them put in 😳

It is a black copy. I helped the manager unpack the shipment in order to get it before it was on the shelves, and there was no color/indie exclusive in any of the boxes. I saw earlier on this thread that there may have been a white indie exclusive, but any online stores I found a listing for don't list the white color, so I'm not sure if that was ever true?
