Clear was UK only, and it’s sold out. Black is all over the place - just buy the damn things, man! Also, buying them from Dig is cheaper only if you select standard shipping, which in my experience means “lost parcel” most of the time.

Him calling it a bootleg, and it being pressed due to a loophole does not make it illegal. If there wasn't a clause disallowing that pressing in the contract and MOV paid licensing to the owner of the contract (the label) then it isn't illegal. He didn't like it and didn't read the contract closely enough. The Cloud Hill represses that came 5ish years later don't prove anything regarding legality of previous presses.

This label is always dropping all sorts of fantastic classic noise, figured it'd be nice to have one thread for their catalogue. I have a few Merzbow albums by them and they're fantastic, they also do really nice wooden box sets which have historically been too expensive for me. I definitely had those in my iTunes way back in the day – what's the fan concensus on that third album? Seems like a big marketing point that it's available for the first time ever. But that aside, clear vinyl is classy as hell and timeless. And tends to sound better, on average, than a lot of colored variants. I think so many people are just conditioned by splatters and swirls in modern vinyl culture. These reissues aren't for me but I couldn't imagine scoffing because "just black" or "just clear" vinyl was available, for a record I've wanted that's been OOP for 15+ years and averages $200 on Discogs. The euro is also in a pretty nice spot on the spectrum of USD conversion. People crying about the price should be grateful it's not in pounds.

I see way, way less a problem with clear vinyl than listening to FFAF in 2021. 🤷‍♂️

I'm not interested in this but End Hits has been a stellar company. They tend to do packages and individuals of releases. They also have a US distro deal with Deathwish - so if you are passing on this, I'd keep an eye out for Deathwish to have some in the states for domestic shipping.

Hey! This vinyl manufacturing delay really really sucks but the tests will be at my house Friday and final product should be shipping to us on November 22nd. At least that is the latest update! I'll have pillar send an e-mail blast out next week with an update (and once tests are approved).

Got my last piece of Jazz June stuff I was waiting on today. Glad to be done with this finally.

Terrible photo, but I'll do one with the vinyl out and the tapes/CDs at some point. It had been about a decade since I had added anything to my Undertow collection up until last year. I'm simply running out of stuff to find aside from tests. I messaged the only person who had the test for the split 7" with Struggle in their collection on Discogs sometime last year, and managed to get that. Per the guy who ran Bloodlink Records, its the only copy that had a cover made. And then a few months back, I randomly acquired a copy of the Stalemate 7" off Excursion Records. Someone on Discogs commented on the mail release post saying they had a test up for grabs, and after a few emails, it was in my hands. Aside from the comps they were on, the only thing I am missing now is the test for the Control 7" on Seattle's Overkill Records, and the demo cassette with the red lettering on the front cover. I had all but given up hope on finding the Stalemate and Struggle Split tests in the wild, so hey, maybe that Control test will show up someday! Plus there are probably several more sleeve variants for that Struggle split I'm missing - Bloodlink just printed new ones on whatever paper or materials he had around when he needed them. Who knows what's out there...
