  3. A little annoyed simply because I want a new pressing of Life Is Not A Waiting Room.

  4. hahahaha. Must be nice to be able to blame everything on the pandemic. I'm sure the decision had nothing to do with the fact they scammed customers, silenced criticism, and overall had a """club""" that sucked ass.

  5. You’re not in line yet?

  6. Really want this on vinyl but the LAST thing I was going to do at FF was run around do a scavenger hunt and wait in insane lines while bands were playing. A great idea with a shit rollout IMO.

  8. Welp, makes sense, top dude @stl_benis selling a copy on discogs for $99 PLUS $4 shipping. What a fuck face.

  9. snagged the CW variant! also so happy for Ben, hes doing such incredible things with all the SH artists and beyond. really should be getting sooooo much more credit than he's getting

  10. Pretty sure you are correct. This should be the full album demos + b side BUT they also have a some special tour editions of the SDF split they have been hyping as well. So I understand the confusion. edit: here’s a non video version of the variants w/ pressing numbers https://www.instagram.com/p/CUYOXQyPOyg/?utm_medium=copy_link

Amoeba is offering signed album flats with their preorders. Looks like they have 3 variants. Details in item descriptions. https://www.amoeba.com/search/all/?s=crawler idles

  12. Last two?!? Brutalism is just as good as JAAAOR and better than Ultra Mono

  13. Thought the track was super disappointing. This feels like a track 8 on an LP, not a lead single. Ultra Mono was a step in the wrong direction for me; this seems to be a continuation of that. The first two albums are fantastic though, so I'll keep an eye on this and give it a fair shake as more singles drop.

  18. At this point I'm kinda annoyed they did like 6 variants for LIEY when they could've given some love to Still Searching. Patiently waiting for all the represses.

  19. Sorry, didn’t see the link so figured I’d share. Looks like they intend opaque from the pictures, but we know how that goes, lol and just saw that linktree 🤦🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️🤙🏼

  20. I’m not gonna bump a bunch of threads or create a new one. But I just saw that pure noise put up a bunch of four year strong represses. This album and two others.. https://purenoise.merchnow.com/products/fys0bpdxuc-lp https://purenoise.merchnow.com/products/fys0bpdxgl-lp https://purenoise.merchnow.com/products/fys0gdihwb-lp - go down in history https://purenoise.merchnow.com/products/fys0swswbj-lp - some of you

  23. There could be a whole thread devoted to this guy’s awful behavior. Pretty much all of those Epitaph/Rise metalcore ass bags were/are really scummy and had no business being around underage girls ever. Anyone remember Emmure?

WOW I'm all over this RAWR XD!... is what I would've said 15 years ago

  27. I would pay like, triple whatever it costs. Just so tragic to do first time on vinyl and only if you just so happened to have had tix to a show.... And then miss all the sets to go run around and do a scavenger hunt. ':/

  30. no one said ruining life - i've clearly managed, and will continue to do so. There's just a few of us still out here that would like mp3s instead of streaming is all we're saying

  31. I had a great day of Garage sales and flea markets. - Non Jazz: Scientists, Zombies, Damned, Ultravox, Lou Reed albums. - Jazz: (all mint vinyl, most covers still in shrink) Coltrane - Favorite Thing (1973) and Live at Village Vanguard (1980 MCA) Tyner - Enlightenment, Echoes, Expansions Lou Donaldson +3 (1970 pressing) Shorter - Speak No Evil - Mint DMM pressing Sun Ra - live at Montreaux Hubbard "breaking point" (1973 pressing) Horace Silver "doin the thing..." (1973) Jimmy Smith "The Cat" (huge soft spot for this record)

  33. They should have framed it as a $40 donation to support Rough Trade and the arts and you get a free record as a thank you. (All kidding aside, this is how I sometimes think about it when I buy expensive merchandise at shows. Supporting a band you like while they're on tour and you get a little physical gift as a thanks.)

  34. Yeah, but you also get to play with a paper wheel to access a QR code which lets you commiserate with other strangers who’ve been scammed, over FaceTime. It’s tough to assign a monetary value to that.
