MerchLimited used to sell out alt covers (or slipmat bundles) for $35/$40 so fast. Lately slipmats have been $50+ or bundled with something extra, for much higher (like this), and slow moving. The general vibe I get is that people are missing the old $40 alt cover days. If there is anyway to go back to that price point, I think people would be happier. The extra merch could be available as a separate item or different bundle.

Crazy to think it's been almost 20 years since they released something actually worthwhile.

With the rise of various production and shipping costs a $40 alt cover bundle doesn’t make sense.

Anyone else notice they changed the ending to colossal wreck on the vinyl version to where it doesn’t flow into desperate pleasures like on the digital version?

So totally not what I was expecting. I thought we'd be getting something a little more similar to Act I. Intro to the story/world but still an album. This is definitely a score with a couple of songs added. It's good though.

Saw them live last Wednesday and the songs live are a blast. it’s less “hard” but more emphasis on atmosphere and fragility. And the album is just the same. More atmosphere, less noise. I’d suggest listening to it on a walk or a place where you can shut off and dive into the world. i am ofcourse biased, but the whole vibe is hope. Hope that is expressed in whispers.

So I have re-watched the film at least 3-4 times already. I sincerely hope that it gets a physical release in DVD or blu-ray at some point. It's an amazing piece of art. I love it.

There was a whole email with a video about it. It's something CC wants to do, but he wants to do it "the right way" (whatever that truly means). He did mention when/ if it is made, boxset purchasers will get some sort of discount.
