Yeah they've made a lot of confusing changes. For example, the sensesfail Merchnow is a Shopify site, so all merchnow does is provide a domain name and the logistics in shipping everything. A lot of labels have done the same thing, likely because the merchnow checkout and what now is prone to crash a lot.

Kid Amnesia is a really cool comp. It feels relevant to the era, added on like IR disc 2 but also a better version of what they were trying to do with the OKNOTOK cassette. Its its own thing and sequenced like an EP/LP. Some great stuff on it.

Got mine in today and did a quick comparison of the Kid A 10" vs this (red). Basically sound the same, but I'd say this newer press sounds better than my 10" copy, the bass is deeper without affecting the mids and highs. Kid A is squeezed hard onto each side in comparison to the other two LPs in the set. I feel the only track that suffers is Motion Picture Soundtrack; It's not a dealbreaker that is has the slightest, I mean ever so slightest, sibalent artefacts on the singing, but I only noticed because after my first playback I hopped through the 10" and that's really not fair (no one's going to do that every playback, are they?)! It could be the slight warp my copy has, or it could be how it sounds, but I'm hardly going to be playing both side by side to nitpick, I imagine the other two LPs will sound just as great. Solid mastering to get this to fit, so well done to them.

Considering that DD and SFTD were widely produced records-of-the-month that have been manufactured in an unknown quantity, and these TMV variants are VMP exclusives, I would say "slim to none".

Really liking Luca Brasi and Mercy Music! I had no idea the singer from Sharks had a new band, I was a huge fan of them and Violent Hearts seems to pick up where they left off. Thanks dude!

The sky-blue S/T arrived today (hooray perks of living in the same city as their distro) and it looks quite nice. But the real exciting part is how it sounds! It's like I'm 12 again. The old mastering just feels right to me. If you were at all disappointed with the re-mastered version, this copy will definitely make you happy! I was a bit afraid after taking it out because I noticed a cluster of tiiiny indents/almost punctures? halfway through side A, but it plays through just fine somehow. Phew!

So I have re-watched the film at least 3-4 times already. I sincerely hope that it gets a physical release in DVD or blu-ray at some point. It's an amazing piece of art. I love it.
