Some AK3 news that may be of interest: I saw them with Bad Religion the other day in Philly and got to talk to Derek and Dan out behind the venue for a little bit. Derek told me a Good Mourning vinyl reissue is in the works for the 20th anniversary next year. He said they were thinking of doing it as a double 10" or maybe even an expanded version with the demos and stuff. Said he wanted it to be a deluxe thing. I asked him to lobby for the inclusion of that leaked "Angel Alcohol" / "Everywhere I Wanna Go" demo, and he said he'd try. He also told me the actual title of that song was "So Good To Be Here". Just some info I thought people here may appreciate.

seeing so many people and publications calling this AOTY and i personally don't think it's anywhere near AOTY worthy. it's easily a satisfying follow up to Lush without being Lush 2.0.

Yeah those are always hit or miss, but usually miss. It was kinda a bold (but appreciated) move of them to show the actual product photos considering how it turned out. DGD did a similar variant for their last release that went a bit better. (BLACK / YELLOW / RED) Also though, I think the 'green' component of the tri-color was a bit of a miss too. Just being nitpicky of course but would have fit nicer if it was a bit softer and more pastel.

The font on the site is horrible. Or is it only me who see "O" instead of "C"? CD box set with top opening lid and oardboard base, includes x13 lyrio oards, immersive booklet, and the diso housed in a printed oard wallet. Its just strange So far both singles were good so ordered bundle with pink vinyl and signed photo.

I think most people will eventually agree that AMSP is part of the 10 club with the other 3. Although personally I'd include Amnesiac as a 10 to make it 5 total.

I think the 12” XL pressings have been the best of the 4 big pressings (10”, US Capitol, XL 12” and KidAmnesia). my KidAm is clipping free and generally well pressed. But I think those XL pressings sound a bit more robust to my ears. but the hype for this has caused me to go back to Amnesiac a lot more over the past 2 months and Damn, while not a 10.0 Radiohead record, it may be the best of those that aren’t a 10.0

Eh. Disagree. The tone is certainly similar between their earlier material, but it's certainly more honest or straightforward lyrically than other music. Not many other people singing about getting a new therapist to make sure they are around to support their kids.
