Randomly decided to watch Kuso on Shudder this morning. I remember hearing about it years ago and how weird and gross it was and finally felt like checking it out. It was as good as something like that could be I guess haha. Felt like a David Lynch/Adult Swim fever dream. Definitely was pretty gross but I’ve seen quite a bit of fucked up stuff in my years of watching horror so it probably wasn’t as crazy to me as it might be to others. Hard to recommend something like this but I guess check it out if you’re a fan of David Lynch and Adult Swims random gross stuff.

I love how people complain about paying 70 dollars with shipping for an album that was previously only available for 400 dollars, without a booklet at that. If you guys would have seen an OG black copy for 70 bucks on ebay you would have bought it immediately. I mean, yeah, it is over-priced, but we're talking about the same band where the bassist sells the records on his own website for triple the price a few months after they sell out.

I enjoyed Kuso and also completely agree with it being hard to recommend. Definitely a strange piece of cinema! I can't imagine watching it a second time, but I'm onboard if he decides to do another movie.

Anyone order from Tower Records? Says sold out now but I definitely got the order in in time after my attempt and Less than Jake’s site failed and options were dwindling. But no shipping notice yet or anything, wondering if anyone is in the same boat. Also, it appears as if Interpunk still is selling for those who still need. Probably the most expensive I’ve seen it but still deec. I’m tempted but I’d rather my first order just go through fine haha.

As of last night I'm officially more than halfway through Discworld! I started reading them in 2013 and was keeping a pretty good pace, but when Terry passed away books started getting hard to request through my local library system and it kind of killed my momentum.

Thanks for the heads up. I actually figured it so exactly this way, although i've seen that it doesn't work with every website.

Got my copy from Plaid Room last night. I've listened to Kid A and Amnesiac but not the bonus disc. No issues with pops or sibilance for me on either disc. This definitely sounds better than my OG 10" copies, most notably on Idioteque and Pakt Like Sardines. Really brought out sounds I'd never noticed before, which is saying a lot given how many times I have listened to these albums.

Today at 1pm eastern. The variant I wanted sold out in seconds haha. Everything else was gone super fast.

Oof. Reached out to Alcopop. I was debating ordering this when I saw the email, but that is otherworldly. $73 shipped for a single LP.
