  1. I'll be goddamned. A copy of less than jake - losing streak arrived at my house today. Neat! EDIT: It's the yellow with black splatter variant

  2. The original price was $35. It's an independent pressing and the vinyl is high-quality. I'd say it's worth $45 for "Iridescent" and "Why."

  3. Smartpunk has tweeted a few cryptic tweets over the past couple weeks hinting at something "swell" happening soon. Then Nick Diener posted on his Oneder Effects IG story him playing the repress. I messaged him and asked if he had any idea when it would be dropping and he mentioned it should be first week of January when announced. So get stoked Swellers fans!! Great album!

  5. That looks more like the splatter variant on the band's webstore.

  8. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Somewhere-Nowhere/301578465? Kind of a weird listing but it works. I would say it's worth it from Walmart and might even be a little cheaper after shipping than Diggers was (assuming you're ordering in the US).

  9. Couldn't find it on Walmart, but I do see it on Amazon and grooves-inc. I completely missed when these were pressed. What were they originally selling for? $45 seems steep, even for a 2xLP.

  10. I definitely forgot, the dollar sign just made me think it was USD. Still a little pricy but I went ahead and ordered.

  11. Gonna' assume there's a good chance the prices on eight1echo's link are in CDN, which is about 3/4 of the USD, give or take. $21 CDN is still steep after conversion to USD though, probably $15-17. Just food for thought. A lot of people seem to forget that or are simply oblivious to conversion rates.

  16. it will sell out regardless, so thats not very good logic. This should be going into the hands of fans that want it at a fair price, not people looking to exploit the secondary market. make it a pressing of 4000 and then make it limit 5, sure. but /400 with a limit 5 makes ZERO sense other than to support inflating an immediate secondary market.

  19. What else can it be? Here is this thing we're offering, with your money you're getting an album that is pressed on this specific quantity, in this specific color. Label/band sells more quickly than they thought, so they change those details after a ton of people already paid for a specific set of details. While this exact instance is pretty benign, it happened, none the less. And sure, maybe that wasn't the initial plan, but here we are... If the label/band thinks that might happen, then just be up front about it. Here are these records, we'll let you PO for a week and then press some magical number once we can gauge interest. Or, what most labels do, here are these /250 variants, oh shit, you guys bought them all, here is a different /250 variant.

  20. I think my original comment and the subsequent replies were more about the bait and switch tactic in general and less about the represses directly. Seems to be happening a little more often lately 😕
