  1. I come to this thread first for these kind of releases anyways.

  2. IMO there should probably be more dedicated PO threads for records. I can imagine there's a lot of people missing out on some crucial pre-orders like this one because Gel and your local beatdown bands are both being posted in the same thread, so there's no urgency to check this thread lol.

  5. $200 isnt a huge gamble, I spent $600 on one about 8 years ago that wasnt motorized and overall should have just bought a VPI. I would not buy another machine designed for a different purpose that was modified to clean vinyl, but thats just my experience. Also looks like there are some smaller ones that clean 4 records at a time for about 160, probably worth it as long as you can rinse them and arent expecting too much

  8. Little bit of both for me. I partially ignore the catch-all threads sometimes, but I do realize that's where most of the releases get posted.

  9. The split 12" between Cleveland's basement post-hardcore rockers BRAIN CAVE and Baltimore's riff machines in Knub is out now. Comes in a hand-assembled silkscreen package with fancy obi strip, numbered and limited to 300 copies. All copies come on clear/rainbow vinyl. It looks really cool and sounds really awesome. Give it a shot: https://hexrecords.bandcamp.com/album/brain-cave-knub-split-12

  10. Same x 3. Album is very good as well. I know some people couldn’t get over the lo-fi production of the last LP… but they shouldn’t have an issue this time around. Even with extra bells and whistles by way of more prevalent strings and electronics, I think it’s still in line with everything that’s drawn me to Parannoul’s previous work. I’m quite happy with it and eager to hear what repeat listens reveal.
