Definitely added it. I think it might have been there when everyone ordered it, but ever since they took it down, the only picture was the album cover. Also looks like they added a product description (unless I didn't notice it before) which says:

Good call... I know sometimes they hold up blown up cardboard artwork and not actual vinyl if it's not available yet, but that looked pretty real. I'll just wait til it's in stores and see for myself, I guess.

Has anyone listened to this? It's insanely awesome. I'm a big Kendrick fan, but was not expecting it to be this good. As far as the vinyl release, given that the CD deluxe edition has 3 tracks on a separate CD, I'd guess that it won't get released on vinyl that way. Which is totally fine after listening to the album. My only issue is that I like the deluxe artwork way more.

What is it that's special about the Rome LP? I don't mean that in a condescending way, I'm just legitimately curious. I hadn't seen info about it anywhere, so if someone could give me the recap or point me in the direction of some info, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I'm kind of surprised at all the love for "Stay Stay Stay". It's not my least favorite by a long shot, and I actually like it overall, but that intro verse is so cheesy and I just think it's terribly written. After that part it's a great song, but because of it I wouldn't be able to put it in my top 3 on the album. But forreal I listened to this at work all day yesterday, probably 7 or 8 times in a row. It's great. Plus I'm studying for a big actuarial exam and it's perfect study music.

Just finished my first run through, and I really like it. Definitely different from Speak Now, but in a good way. While at this point I don't see it living up to that album, it's way too early to tell. Probably going to put this on repeat at work all day, except maybe a break to check out the new Kendrick Lamar.

Damn I need that "Taylor Swift or die" shirt... I bought one at her show in June 2011, but it's not exactly something I wear out much.

I'm not as big into the first two albums, as some of you seem to be, but I also hate country music. Fearless is decent, but Speak Now is just so so good. And I definitely think the more pure pop sound of this new album (at least the songs that have come out) is the right thing to do, even if she doesn't stick with it. It's always good to mix it up.

If this is on red vinyl, I'm buying it without question... and I probably am anyways.

In case anyone is curious, I emailed Get On Down about this and just got a response: "We planned to make 500. RZA's people request an additional 300 copies for them to sell for their bundles. So there is 800 total."

My only question is what the deluxe red vinyl is actually limited to. The GetOnDown site says 500, which I'm inclined to believe. But they're package of that with the film score says the package is limited to 100, and the Rza autographed bundle on his bandcamp site says that the bundle is limited to 300. So does that mean there are only 100 copies of the vinyl alone available? Or is it really 800 (or more) total?

I mean they removed the price from the item page, not from my order. That still shows what I paid. And it's said "Format: Audio CD" the whole time. If you look at the US box set, it says the same thing. I'd guess it's just a default for these multi-format box sets.

The one in my order history, that they've removed the price for, says "Deluxe Box Set" in the title, so I'd say that's a good sign. Plus they've taken the price down but my order still shows up and isn't cancelled. I'm not giving up hope just yet.

I'm kind of surprised the vinyl is out the same day as other formats... I feel like that almost never happens with hip-hop albums recently, especially on major labels. I'm holding out to see if there will be some sort of deluxe vinyl, though... that artwork with the van is the deluxe artwork, the normal artwork that I'm assuming is on that record on Amazon I don't like as much:

First week sales numbers are in and this album has the biggest first week of 2012, coming in at 600,000 albums sold. Just won "Day & Age" on eBay for $27.50 shipped... pretty sweet deal considering how much prices have climbed (as people said a page or two ago). Cheapest on discogs is something crazy like $120.

I'm a little unimpressed with the new album... I like it, but it just feels really overly preachy at a lot of points. And I know Lupe's been all about activism and stuff for a while, but maybe it's just finally starting to wear on me.
