There's not much info out there on this but I have a CDr from the drummer of RX Bandit's solo project Technology. It's been played once. I'm asking for $35 (shipped) if you are in the US.

I have a pretty clean copy of this for sale. There are some marks on the records and the jacket has some ringwear and a couple creases but it's in damn good shape. I'm asking $55 shipped. I will be more than happy to send pictures if interested. Just shoot me a PM and I'll provide! I don't have a working setup right now so I don't have the ability to play them to check for any pops or skips. The pictures are all I have.

ABOUT THE PICTURE DISCS: > As you know we've been in a state of upheaval here as we've restructured and reorganized. Our warehouse had just under a thousand boxes in it (we counted) and one of them contained quite a surprise. Among hundreds of boxes of leftover record jackets was a box of picture disc samples from the first pressing of Vein. These picture discs are a great example of what Vein was supposed to be. > > You may recall the great expense we endured with the first pressing of Vein. The original idea was to press perfectly clear picture discs (these are the samples from that attempt) but we ended up having to go with screen printed records. The mylar shifted fractions of an inch within the heat of the press, one or two small tiny bubbles formed and in some instances the goat image skewed a little bit. A lot of money (and I mean a lot) time was lost in this process. > > A lot of sales listings mistakenly refer to the commercially sold pressing as picture discs when in fact it was all screen printed vinyl. Maybe the most limited Boris pressing out there? Important records sold a few before Boris put a stop to that so I'm unsure of how many are out in the wild. It's the Mylar edition that they couldn't get quite right. Apparently it plays well but there are a few pops in the record. It's more of a novelty item anyway. Regardless, it's a beautiful looking record and I'm finally going to let it go. I'm looking for $200.

What's the issue with the vinyl anyways? What's it sound like? Muddy? Noisy?

I would have flipped this thing if I cared enough to hunt one down too. All this madness over a license plate. The standard edition will come. Relax.

I prefer the vinyl that will sound better. Black vinyl til death!

Thanks for the info. I'd like them to do some more song oriented stuff. I feel like the past 2 records had enough droney walls of sound. I love them, don't get me wrong, but the more upbeat songs on To Be Kind were my favorites.

Were the new songs more short and sweet or more like they have been of late....long with lots of build ups.
