  2. Thanks for sharing the Acoustic Sounds website, definitely will check out the two June-Bill Evans records
  3. Really curious about the quality of the KoB record, saw it pop up on discogs and it looks very luxury
  4. Apparently he reworked Carry Me Away but I don't hear any differences. Maybe on the final cut?
  5. Very curious about those countdowns. Would the smart thing be to preorder the pink and then cancel off the other ones are Sobbier? Ah! Decisions...
  6. Mmm very interesting, will be looking out for this
  7. Excited for this eventual release, one of my favorite movies and soundtracks Haven’t gone there last few years. I’m in the “it’s not as good as it used to be” crowd. Steely Dan piques my interest though, might try to get Two Against Nature.
  8. This, DITW, LIAP, and Vitals might be the ones I buy merch and vinyl for, love those 3

  13. Got that clay! So excited for this! wow what a great surprise
  14. Most definitely studio magic. As much as I’ve loved seeing Anberlin live, his vocals are one aspect that I try to curb my expectations with.
  15. MP3 of We Are the Lost Ones sounds great, can’t wait for the next album to be mixed and mastered
  16. Out 10/2 https://dawes.limitedrun.com Album Commentary from Taylor: “As a songwriter, this album is a relinquishing of my codependence...Not concerning myself with things that I shouldn’t...witnessing life around me but trying to hold back judgement. It’s also about stepping more firmly into adulthood, even if a few years later than expected. The Topo Designs Summer Sale Get it before it's goneUp to 70% off packs, apparel & more topodesigns.com As a band, this album is a celebration of each other and our closeness as a group. It’s the 4 of us live in a room not hiding behind any sort of studio magic. This band has made us stronger and brought us closer through the years and we’re recognizing that and are more proud of that than ever.” Far from apathetic, Good Luck With Whatever is Dawes at their most unapologetic. It’s sympathetic and magnetic, 50% genetic and highly kinetic. Songs like “Didn’t Fix Me” and “Me Especially” showcase Goldsmith’s poetic prowess perfectly; a historian of the human condition, transforming turmoil into motor oil. Drop the tone arm down, turn the volume up, unplug the phone and if you still feel nothing... call a doctor. Good Luck With Whatever is an unfiltered photograph of a band doing what they do best. A moment in the timeline of a 10 year old band who still possess the wonderment and fearlessness of a 10 year old man. These guys learned to rock before they could crawl and now it’s time to let em’ run. Ask any scientist and they’ll tell you one thing... you can’t fake chemistry. Recorded at the historic RCA studios in Nashville Tennessee, the boys teamed up with six time Grammy award winning producer Dave “Corn On The” Cobb. Street date: October 2nd, 2020 TRACK LIST: 1.
