I like the album after 3 spins but it's still a disappointment (I have the subscription variant too :/) Man the vocals are basically peering up from the bottom of the ocean they're so murky. It's super noticeable if you're used to the first album.

I'm surprised they only pressed 150 of the fly version. Could have gotten at least 500 idiots to buy that.

I think bedroom 4 track recording -> studio recording is perfectly acceptable and agree that album is better in its re-recorded state.

I continued finding new genres/sounds I enjoy so music is as interesting as ever and I'm excited over new records in the mail just about every other day. I've never been a variant hoarder or obsessed with gimmick releases for TV/Movies I like so I'll never have that day where I look at my records with regret. I feel like a lot of you can't let go of your youth through your music taste and it's really not doing you any good. You dress like an adult now so why would a new Blink or Green Day release be mentally exciting? It's impossible and forced unless your brain just stopped developing. Accept it and explore something else, music is endless.

You're just about guaranteed to be talking to someone with a shitty turntable and 11 records in their collection when it's about an album this popular. It's not off speed.

Y'all act like it's a fair price on purpose when their favorite number is 93. Just got lucky they didn't charge $1,993 for the gold and $193 for the white/black haha.

I don't like it but the ratio isn't any different. $1-2 cost = $11 wholesale while $5+ = $22. What is off? Major labels are still overcharging on top of that but there have been several comments completely writing off increased manufacturing costs which imo is crazy. That's literally the root of the problem.

Gotta remember pressing less copies is more expensive though. Paying the little guy $30 for an LP /100 or /200 is terrible for everyone but fair lol

Question: why is everyone saying the cost to press a record hasn't gone up? That's complete bullshit it's increased at least 3x in the last 5-10 years. A 12" release on black vinyl used to cost about $1-2 per unit now it's up near $5.
