  1. I've gotten a mailer once out of 4 purchases (the mailer being the first order), they usually have padding but I guess I'm just unlucky. I leave negative feedback and it doesn't change annoyingly. They usually don't use USPS so nothings been damaged thankfully
  2. It looks like it, be wary though they've been using huge boxes with no padding
  3. That lathe is a joke though, I hope no one who ordered it thought it was real music haha. Stoked for this release, their LP was probably my favorite record last year.
  4. Yesterday I also got a large box except mine didn't even have air bags...
  5. People with shitty turntables complained about the questionable cuts. The records are indeed cut a few mm larger than normal but that isn't a problem. Everything else is spot on, it's not a shit quality gatefold but it's also not tip on. Somewhere in the middle for a premium price really sucks. It's also one of the best sounding records I own though so I don't hate myself for buying it. It's weird, Acrobatic Tenement definitely has a reasonable price... I don't know why this one is so high.
  6. Haha the track listing on the labels counts up to 6 before going back to 2 and counting up to 5. I also glanced at the lyrics to starslight and noticed a typo, I'm afraid to read the rest... I'm surprised they spelled Acrobatic Tenement right on the cover Still ecstatic to finally own this record
  7. Amazon pulling at my heartstrings when I picked this box up to hear the oh so lovely sound of a record bouncing around in a 4x12x14 box. Luckily it isn't damaged at all, thank you UPS.
  8. I can cave for a $35 record... but a $40 shirt? Holyyyy shittttt
  9. The songs released so far are excellent. The whole thing insta downloads when you buy it for those that don't know.
  10. Summore: Pavement - Brighten the Corners (Not my favorite Pavement record but Stereo is the greatest singalong track they've written.) Built to Spill - Perfect from Now On Archers of Loaf - Icky Mettle The Flaming Lips - Transmissions from the Satellite Heart I didn't mean to go straight 90s, but damn these records are just perfect to give zero fucks singing as loud as you can.
  11. Glad to help It took just one listen to fall in love with the soundtrack for me, I'm actually afraid to see the movie and have the songs remind me of certain parts of it if I don't like it.
  12. Definitely. You also know you've been driving a while when the thing finishes haha.
  13. Eh, forward and foreword have two different meanings though. Spelt is accepted as well as shit like alright. You would've been right a few years ago before these words were officially added to the dictionary.
  14. It's been said already but all band names are stupid
  15. Yeah people said that they checked instantly and it started up there around 1500. Selling 1500 records in a day is still pretty good, I wish people checked how many when Drive went up.
  16. The review was based almost entirely off their assumption that Gonzalez was taken advantage of by Hollywood. After reading the review I had almost no clue what they actually thought of the music. Pitchfork sux.
  17. I like it as a come down track after the awesomeness of the record. Basically I wouldn't listen to it just to listen to it, but I'll always put it on after spinning the actual album beforehand. If that makes any sense.
  18. Don't hype the remix too much, it isn't amazing imo.
  19. Clear copies won't be sold anywhere else. These are just the clear copies, there are probably 4500+ black copies if their past ratios relate to this release.
