Yeah, I'm kind of surprised this didn't leak out earlier, considering it must have been in the works for awhile since the vinyl is supposedly going to be available in < 6 weeks from now. Either that or pressing plants aren't as backed up as I thought they were.

Fucking finally! Nashville Moon is the best MECo. album IMO, can't wait to spin Jason singing the hell out of Bowery and Texas 71.

Adam did an AMA on /r/indieheads yesterday (link here). In one response he said a deluxe edition coming at some point. In another response he said a 7" with Ocean Of Darkness and a b-side called Slow Ghost will be released in a few months. Hopefully that's part of the deluxe edition too. And in another post he said there's a 34-minute track called My Ocean Calls that they hope to release someday too!

Prices were, as you might imagine if you've browsed their stock, overpriced but 38 to 45CAD for AOTMs (less for others) before tax is what you would except for the exchange rate, plus you dodge the shipping charges & he said he could try to get special orders done upon request in case there's available VMP stock he doesn't have.

I thought VMP had free international shipping. Am I wrong or does Canada not count as "international" for them?

And Spectres should only be starred 2 times, it was downloadable via the link on A Positive Rage, same as 40 Bucks.

Silver and Gold is Songs for Christmas volumes 6-10. This is Songs for Christmas volumes 1-5.

EDIT: There may be some overlap in the songs, but they're different versions. In general, 1-5 are more lo-fi/stripped down (think Seven Swans/Carrie & Lowell) compared to 6-10.

That would match what happened with High Violet - EU was translucent purple, US was opaque purple.

They have an office in WI as well. That's where Andrew Winistorfer (aka thestorfer), one of their staff is based out of.

I think he's great live, one of my favorites, I try not to miss him when he comes to town. He always seems so happy to be up on stage and playing music.
