im sayin.. usually jeff posts here or somewhere when a big PO is about to drop. that weatherbox preorder being up for weeks on SRC but not on triple crown may be an indication that SRC is doing stuff early. i know triple crown and RFC arent related, but it could just be a SRC thing to put it up with little/no explicit notice.

got an email from SRC saying this was up. im heavily resisting ordering it as i'm pretty sure RFC will have a deluxe bundle. i messaged their FB page (LOL) asking if preorders would be posted today, hopefully Jeff or someone catches wind of this thread.

this is my main reasoning, albums i get into via mp3s or even ones i've loved for years sound quite different and so so much better on wax.

I picked up a clear beer variant of this at the chicago show a couple weeks back and I lost the small download code slip that came with it. could anyone help me out with a good quality version of the mp3s? i love this record and need it on the go!

i got 90/300... and as much as i love the music and the pressing and packaging, it seems all that grain has gotten into the grooves of my 7" and completely wrecked the sound quality. when i first pulled it out i thought it was just a little dust, but after inspecting the sleeve it looked as though the inside was completely coated with it... which completely coated my 7" :/ anyone else having such a noticeable problem?

i picked up a copy after playing with these guys in early january, its a "punk is dead i got a job" variant 20/30. is this a test press, or the tour press of 100, with the numbering and play on the phrase as a joke?

any word on his setlist? how many songs, mostly proper and intersections? im very intrigued and excited for matt fazzi on keys, whats he do on the older songs?

ninja, im very sorry you have to liquidate but i am very thankful that you posted here. i myself live in muncie, indiana and am an avid fan of the mars volta along with my two roommates/bandmates. we were recently robbed and ive been quietly searching for a nice copy of deloused as a house christmas present to raise spirits. now, 10 years ago there was a pressing of some 10,000 to 15,000 of the silver deloused 2xLP. from my understanding, it was fairly readily available at more prominent record stores and whatever online outlets of the day until late 2006/early 2007 when both the band and eBay bouncing became more popular. these days a copy on such site goes anywhere from $250 to about $650 pending on if any other copies are available online. occasionally a small cluster of copies will pop up on bigcartel-type sites for around $85 to $160. i hope ive been able to give you some perspective on quite frankly, the specialness of this certain piece. im sure your asking price will be fair, if anything i wouldnt want you to ask too little. about the frances the mute... the record is a gem man, though a few copies have been floating around online. pending on the condition, it is definitely a valuable piece. hope i've been able to help! if you have a price range you'd like to discuss on deloused, feel free to pm me. -Shawn
